RE: Parameta sale19 Jul 2024 11:26
Parameta is approaching revenue of over £210 this year, more likely £215 with profit of £95-100M.
Valuation of B£1.5 for that business only is far too low, considering that renewal % rate is 98 and new clients are constantly being added on. Let's be fair - data is gold - so a PE of 25 should be applied as minimum giving Para a valuation of £2.5B for this year end. The margins has been reported at around 45%. Parameta data is getting more feed form increased electronification also from Fusion - this is only going to increase. So I can imagine this years growth of 12-13% might accelerate to 15% - or am I overoptimistic. Never mind the rest of the business! E&C is doing very well recently, netting £150, more than parameta, and valued at 0. All value here for now is in Parameta - the Board must do somthing about it - they need to unlock value.
