Omega (AIM: ODX), the specialist medical diagnostics company focused on industry-leading Global Health (CD4 and COVID-19) and Health and Nutrition products, provides an update in relation to the Company's " CONTRACT" with the Department of Health and Social Care ("DHSC") to provide manufacturing capacity for COVID-19 lateral flow antigen tests.

ODX have today released RNS update advising where they are in a dispute with DHSC regarding phase 2 of a contract.
Their SP currently down 28%

From Sept RNS ......

"the launch of PathFlow® COVID-19 Rapid Antigen, a self-LFT to detect SARS-CoV-2 antigens, previously expected in Q3 2021.
This delay is due to increased demand for self-test approvals causing a backlog of tests currently under review by the Company's Notified Body."

Following our approval last week: Are we (NCYT) the only UK company now able to sell PCR test kits in the UK?
(If not, who else is authorised to Sell in UK?)

As UK are now reporting 40,000 - 50,000 new cases each day (assuming 50% PCR test are Negative) does that mean we are selling 3m ( average: 30 days x 100,000) per month.

Or am I adding 2 + 2 and = 5 here?

Wonder how many of these 61 were in transit in Holland?

Would have thought most would have onward flights to catch, that's if allowed?

Launch Diagnostics have "TODAY" had a further 2 applications now approved (total 4).

We need to keep an eye out for further news on our remaining 8 applications.

Perhaps further news next week of another of our applications being approved!!!

Would have thought the high level of information being provided for these remaining 8 applications would be of the same high standard as the test just passed.

Hopefully further passes next week and week after.

Wasn't one of the problems the UK had before was when the Travel Traffic Lights system was announced the large number of South African passengers changing flights (e.g. Paris/Madrid) and then arriving in the UK unnoticed.

Great for us, so far we're the only "Registered company with a UK address" so now we can Trade/Sell this "Coronavirus COVID-19 genesig Real-Time PCR assay" in the UK.

Would be nice to have some form of update

"The mandatory CTDA guidelines require all suppliers of COVID-19 tests (polymerase chain reaction and antigen/lateral flow tests) to submit data on their tests for a desktop validation if they wish to continue to sell them in the UK. This legislation does not apply or affect any sales outside the UK."

The centre, located at 2 Gilmore Park (EH3 9FN), is part of the largest network of diagnostic testing facilities created in British history. In Scotland, this comprises of eight drive through sites, 56 walk-through sites, 42 mobile units, plus the Glasgow Lighthouse Lab which is working round the clock to process samples.

In Scotland, the UK Government is providing all COVID testing and test processing outside of the NHS.
