From the booklet enclosed:
Manufacturer: SureScreen Diagnostics of Prime Enterprise Park, Derby
Swabs: Zhejiang Gongdong or Jiangsu Changfeng
from RNS 26/Nov/2021:
The Company awaits updates on the additional eight products submitted to the CTDA across its COVID-19 testing portfolio. To note, only validated products, or products on the temporary protocol, can be sold in the UK after 31 October 2021.
Today, I collected from BOOTS (after ordering through Gov website):
" Home LFT Nasal Swabs (Gold) for self testing"
produced by: SureScreen Diagnostics, Derby.
This company does NOT appear on : COVID-19 test validation approved products
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-test-validation-approved-products#history
How can this be?
We picked up home LFT test kits from our local chemist after ordering via government website.
The test kits (CE marked (Chinese)) are dated Sept 2021 with a Best Before date of Sept 2023.
As they were produced 2/3 months before we had heard of Omicron, could they still show as a Positive test if I had this virus type???
Now UP 23.21% (0.69c)

The government's use of a "VIP lane" to award contracts for personal protective equipment (PPE) to two companies was ruled unlawful by the High Court. Campaigners claimed the VIP lane was reserved for referrals from MPs, ministers and senior officials and gave some companies an unfair advantage. A judge ruled it was unlawful to give the two companies preferential treatment as part of the VIP lane, but noted both offers were likely to have been given PPE contracts anyway.

I seem to remember watching the last West Sussex council meeting/application (maybe 2 years ago) when all Councillors voted against ANGS. Something like 13 - 0.
There's a massive dislike and mistrust of ANGS by the local population.
Hopefully some detailed news re Sales in USA, Europe, India, Middle & Far East, Africa will be forth coming in 2 1/2 weeks with FY results
Add in a DHSC update + LFT Authorisations.

Don't forget this fiasco re PCR tests also:
The company at the heart of a fiasco that saw up to 43,000 people wrongly given negative Covid results is still processing PCR tests for travel and one of its senior member of staff has been seconded to work within the UK Health Security Agency, the Guardian has learned.
Immensa, whose privately run Wolverhampton laboratory was suspended by the government over the scandal this month, is continuing to process results for international travellers who buy tests through its sister company, Dante Labs.
The government also confirmed that an “employee from Immensa/Dante Labs is supporting NHS Test and Trace [part of the UKHSA] in a technical role”, though it denied any conflict of interest.
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/oct/26/firm-that-gave-43000-false-covid-results-still-processing-pcr-tests
Thought this was a small % still, but rapidly increasing.
How do you know which variant you have? - nothing coming back to the public on PCR test results, guess the labs are just recording the type/numbers.
Remember 6 months ago we said:
"Throughout the pandemic we have continued to launch new products to ensure our COVID-19 portfolio remains at the forefront of our industry. These two antigen LFTs will support our customers as the market continues to evolve towards private testing and we believe they will become a useful entry point to our existing range of PCR COVID-19 tests. With the potential for a flu season starting in the northern hemisphere in a few months it will be important to know whether a person has flu or SARS-CoV-2 and having access to quick results are critical to patient treatment and containing the spread of the COVID-19 virus. These LFTs add to our existing PathFlow® range, which is a portfolio for the rapid diagnosis of a number of infectious diseases, and we will continue to evaluate other COVID-19 POC tests to meet the changing demands of the market"
We always knew Free LFT's had to end, part of our planning for 2022 and beyond.
Now waiting for our LFTS to receive Full approval.
Further to the announcement on 29 June 2021, the Company's confirms there is a delay in the launch of PathFlow® COVID-19 Rapid Antigen, a self-LFT to detect SARS-CoV-2 antigens, previously expected in Q3 2021. This delay is due to increased demand for self-test approvals causing a backlog of tests currently under review by the Company's Notified Body. The Notified Body has communicated a delay of up to six months, therefore, the Company is also evaluating other approved options for a COVID-19 self-LFT.
Hopefully we should hear news on this Jan/Feb time at the latest?

Was in 18th Aug RNS - just always seemed to be on a back burner, can't remember it being mentioned on here?
Should be worth a few million at least to us, especially if LTA is until July
Non-governmental organisation long-term agreements
Novacyt has entered into a two-year Long-Term Agreement (LTA) with the World Health Organization (WHO) for the supply of its genesig® COVID-19 tests. In addition, the Company has received confirmation from UNICEF that its existing LTA with the organisation has been extended by 12 months to July 2022.
Up till July 2022 !!!
Wonder what value this extended LTA is worth to the company?
Expecting a "Mad" few hours trading at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow. Many Shorter's will be looking to close out positions especially if rumours carry any weight.
France now rebounding, expecting a BLUE finish.
Discrepancies in Covid test results were spotted a month before testing was halted at one lab, court papers show.
More than 43,000 people received incorrect results after errors at the Immensa laboratory in Wolverhampton.
