Last week it was probably best not to be exposed with too many additional short term bets out there... Still fully invested in KAZ, since 460 and 470ish, and have only sold a few slices two weeks ago with that sudden retrace.

Llloydie, be happy, Gcm needed liquidity to finance 2019, but instead to raise capital (down at 11p last week), the best option was to stir hopes & dreams again. Come on buddy, its Christmas time :)) The RNS was elegantly formulated "We are confident the project in Phulbari will go ahead..." Which metely refers to the chinese power plant project in Phulbari - not the coal mine.

While the coal power plant in Phulbari could very likely develop with this chinese money in the game, IMO the open pit mining license for Phulbari will NOT be granted in the near future. Sheikh Hasina sees that project very critical for some reasons - while she does agree to new power plants.

Most of the spikes here were build on speculation about the highly challenged "Phulbari" project.
Never mind the latest RNS about a decent deal with the chinese company. Even if they build ten power plants, the coal from PB at the current status will not be mined.
