Whats your opinion about the 12th December Brexit vote? The say the entire north Ireland party (100 MPs) will likely vote "no". How will this affect Asian Gcm and their british Polo pals?

I posted if 42p and 28p were breached, then retrace to about 18p. This is exactly what happened last week. And I wrote if 18p is (ever) breached, then possibly short retrace to 14p. It was not breached. The Sp always speaks the truth! My point was that Gcm has NOT been a strong buy at 32 and 36p last week, as you said. Thats all. I for one prefer to wait for the technical retrace, which has been quite successful, given last week. After waiting many days, my two buys triggered, with one slice from 22.75 and 23.50. For me a decent price, given the fact that my last Gcm sell has been 44p, a long while ago. Let other have some of the cake :)) (No, I am not a deramper who looks for cheap entries. I buy shares that start a new sustained uptrend - never mind the price.)

Many decent opinions! And quite interested for me to read that some would prefer to stay "in". Take a look at the masses of 20-30 y/o londoners who opt to stay in the EU. But I definitrly agree that this "construction" must be reformed, and 1980s faces, like Jean-Claude Junker, should handover to a new generation. No need to call it "dictatorship", because the EU presidency changes all the time. Its up to every nation to shape the common future. (I agree that the UK, being among the richest countries, has been severely abused by a number of south- and east european countries. Off topic: - Technically looking GSK/Glaxo remains within a decent long term uptrend. - in my opinion its safe to hold as long as this 1480ish level holds - otherwise just retrace to 1,425 Might buy some after the Brexit wobble settles... (Why you guys leaving anyway??:))

Whats Gsk...? I almost put 30k in Thomas Cook last week during their surprize selloff... But never bought in, because was much too distracted with Eurasia. Today another 20% dented at TCG ! Might buy them after the Brexit parliament vote (which should hammer the Ftse some 10%). You guys holding through the vote?

Yupp, IMO that share was awful some years ago!

I agree that Gcm should be an exception once the british parliament votes "no".
(Bit of a disappointment for some of us who live on continental Europe and enjoy weekend city trips (as well as shopping UK fashion), but well, let the people go on with their free will.)
The "no" vote would cause quite a hammering of the Ftse in my opinion, while GCM has already been hammered throughout the last two years:))

Just writing a second opinion to the same sharehype posts - over and over - that you can read on this bb :))
Moreover I used to be a long Gcm term holder and have already profited several times with Gcm. Now it's your turn, Andre.
(But rest assured that I have placed a trailing AT buy in case the next buy signal is triggered. Wasn't today.)

- A week-to-week oriented investor.
- While I do stay invested in some shares for one month (such as KAZ from 460ish to 590p today).
- Other little gems (all those little 0.something "punts") I might even hold for a year or two. I don't mind if some ignorable 5k are parked in Wres and all those other punts out there.
