Over the years I've observed two pattern with GCM: 1) A few days mid sized rise before news release, buying by insiders, and then a lasting share spike thats lasts for many months. 2) Spike on the day of some RNS, with decent rising, but quick peak out and subsequent selling. Plus a rights issue on top (because from time to time Gcm do need cash :)) And what will it be this time?? Its the second optiion, because its very unlikely that PM Hasina will give the go ahead for the open pit project ("There will be no mining in Phulbari now or in the next few years. Other generations may decide on that." / 2012) IMO company directors picked the 31 Dec date i.o. to put pressure on the government to finally find a decision.
