What was incorrect about my comments? Gervais Heddle signed a JV without knowing the full extent of Haveiron - it's STILL open in 3 directions with gold in every core, but he signed the JV without knowing how large it was. He also gave them an additional option of 5% (bringing NCM up to 75% ownership) based on binary valuations, either Newcrest's or GGP's - with no option for a negotiated settlement. Badly written contract!
So - what was incorrect in that statement?
Or are you saying that the WSBN cores DO show gold and I'm wrong? Which makes WSBN management wrong as well? They have NOT stated "gold", they said "mineralisation".

Whilst this has been in suspension I've picked up a years worth of divis.
I'm fully loaded from before suspension & have enough, so it matters not to me :)

The pictures do NOT show gold - be careful in your interpretation.
It shows quartz veining, carbonate, chalcopyrite & pyrrhotite. All GOOD INDICATORS of gold. What you see just looks like gold.

The LAST thing we want right now is a JV with Newcrest!!!!
GROWTH DRILLING is the key to unlocking value.
Once you know what you have in the ground - THEN you look at a JV with a bigger miner.
This MAY be another havieron, but let's wait and see.

Newcrest got 70% of Greatland for pennies on the pound because of a badly written contract. Shaun Day has managed to mitigate the damage somewhat.

You wouldn't sell your house for 10% of its value because you wanted to relocate quickly, so don't do it with your hard earned money & investments.

Let the drill bit speak and then plan for the future.

So many so-called "investors" jump at the first whif of a small profit, they completely miss the prize.

Probably,but I'd much prefer a "relist RNS" mid-week & trading to resume the following Monday. That gives people time to sort finances and load up when trading begins. It would do wonders for the share price first thing Monday Morning :)

Newcrest have a P/E of 12, so that would give us £1.10 on the same basis.

So a 10+ bagger from here on a theoretical 30m oz.

For all to see the quick calculation I did the following:
AISC of approx $650 per oz
Leaves a net profit of $1850 per oz.
Which is £1541.66 at £/$ - 1/1.20
Multiply that by 25% of 30m oz
gives you £11,562,499,000 (yes, that's biliions!)
Divided by 4,170 BN shares
Gives you £2.77 per share for a p/e of 30.

Crude I know, but you did ask :)

I think it'll open at 80p and surpass £1 on the first day of dealing. Just my (tainted) view.

At this price it's a no-brainer. I'm quietly and relentlessly accumulating at this price & will continue to do so up to and probably beyond 20p+. By December 2023 the current sp will be a distant memory.

Things could get worse over the next 6 months & the gold price is currently going down. Our sp may fall further still, but no matter. When the market gives you lemons, make lemonade - lots of it :)

So true Bob, the markets are fickle at the best of times.

It's all rather academic anyway - I'm holding in my ISA for the very long term, regardless of short term sp movement. I think this'll be huge over the next decade.

Look at the next 12 months and we're in the money:

4000bpd x 350 days @ $40 profit = $56m
Cash/equity is currently $58m.
Total: $114m

Minus $80m upfront + $5m annually
Total: $85m

That leave $29m equity/cash or £23.2m at £/$ 1/1.25 which is 10.5p per share.
If you use the current $115 per barrel over the next year then the numbers are way better - $80 profit pb would give:
$112m + $58m equity/cash = $170m. Less the $85m = $85m cash, or 30.9p per share.

None of the above take into account the 20m barrels of P2 reserves, Odewayne, Block 23, or anything else in the pipeline.

I think we'll at least double on relist.

I'd settle for doubling on day 1, followed by a slow and steady rise as the wonga rolls in :)
