Welcome to the Board chinch, and the most nailed-on investment out there :)
This is an ATM cash machine, and will remain so through to at least 2040.
Happy investing :)
Rex
Plode,
Taken from the Debt arrangement RNS fromMay last year:
"On 12 September 2022, Greatland Gold plc (AIM:GGP; Greatland or Company) announced that it had signed a commitment letter, including a terms sheet, for A$220 million seven-year debt and associated hedging facilities with a syndicate of leading banks: Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ), HSBC Bank (HSBC) and ING Bank (Australia) (ING) (together, the Banking Syndicate) (Debt Commitment Letter). Further to this announcement, the Company is pleased to advise that it has received a Letter of Support, from the Banking Syndicate in respect of the proposed debt and associated hedging facilities (Letter of Support) which supersedes the Debt Commitment Letter.
Highlights
§ Letter of Support confirms the Banking Syndicate remains fully supportive and enhances Greatland's financial flexibility
§ The update saves the Company from incurring the commitment and other fees associated with the proposed A$220 million debt facilities until the Havieron Feasibility Study is finalised
§ The Letter of Support in respect of the proposed A$220 million debt confirms the Banking Syndicate remains fully supportive while the Havieron Feasibility Study progresses with several value enhancing options underway to maximise value and de-risk the project".
According to the above, there will not be any dilution of GGP shareholders.
Happy to clear that up for you.
Rex
Rotherby,
No, I'm only talking about the gold mined from Havieron.
If Telfer was in the deal, I'd expect to get it for a nominal sum as the ongoing maintenance & end of life rehabilitation/remediation costs will be huge. That would bring the Hav royalty down to maybe 10-20% overall.
Just my thoughts, who knows?
What's wrong with that? Newmont aren't just going to hand over 5.88million oz of gold for nothing, are they? Would YOU?
Also, Hav is still open at depth in 3 directions, with more ounces to come.
Greatland do the shovelling & they get annual cashflow - for doing nothing.
As Greatland has Right of Last Refusal (ROLF) on a deal for Hav, most buyers could be put off spending big money on the detail, only to be kiboshed at the finish line by GGP. Therefore I think the following are the only reasonable options:
1. GGP waits for any offers to come in, matches the highest offer (+ $1.00), then takes 100% control. They have the debt facilities & financial backers to do this.
2. GGP do a JV with a friendly Company, wherby the bidder buys the 70% & then transfer part of that to GGP as a sweetener for allowing them to join the party unopposed. For arguments sake, lets say 20%, giving both parties a 50/50 stake in Havieron.
3. GGP are just given the mine, and pay an ongoing royalty to Newmont of say 15-25%?
Just my thought, be nice to hear what this board thinks? Without the profanities :)

Don't know about than ianfm, but he said this on the 14th March:
"This was supposed to move well into the 40s and hasn’t!! Must be the next bit of news that is the catalyst, or maybe the one after that, or it it the one after that. Jam tomorrow. Heard it all before".
And yet here we are, 44p :)
This is only going UP. Once the deal is signed we can say goodbye to the 40's and "hello" to the 50's or 60's!!
I expect £1+ by year end. I'm STILL buying :)
Rex
Totally agree Rift,
Once the deal is signed this will re-rate instantly.
Ballbagzz is a blatant shorter. Let's hope he gets well and truly fried :)
I'm still buying, Afentra's a cash making machine :)
I want out!!
Always "jam tomorrow" with RP.
He's buying up more random land & diluting the shares to do so. The last one was described as a "micro placing" of 25 million shares. That's 10% of the market cap. For what?
We have zero revenue, zero gold & zero production. Just lots of pretty pictures of random cores.
He seriously needs to FIND the gold, mine it, process it, sell it, and provide liquidity. Otherwise it'll be more fund raising, more random land purchases, more random cores & more jam tomorrow!
This constant 'kicking the can' down the road is, quite frankly, wearing thin with investors.
Get me 3.4p and I'm out.
Binary risk Mr JWBelle-end?
1. We've got 100% of Guyana, with a discovery of 4 Billion barrels of heavy oil.
2. We're currently in farm out discussions for our acreage in South Africa.
3. We're receiving "significant interest" from super-majors across our 4 blocks in Namibia.
4. We're drilling within the next 12-18 months, possible much sooner.
Not sure your analysis stacks up, lol!
Once a deal is completed on ANY of the above, we'll smell your shorts burning from miles away.
My take on things, for what it's worth:
Telfer is nothing without Havieron, and vice versa.
Newmont will give them Telfer for pennies on the dollar, and Greatland will take over all remediation costs at end of life.
Newmont will take an ongoing royalty from Havieron of maybe 4-5%.
Just my guess, as good as anyone's I suppose.
Who's selling? Lol!
I've just done another cheeky wee top up this morning. I put half in here & the other half in the Franklin India ETF (you should always diversify, no matter how good you think the company is).
AET is cash generator for years to come. Plenty more deals to come.
"I'm looking at the last 10 weeks"
Lol!
I'm looking at the NEXT 16 years, yes SIXTEEN YEARS until 2040, when the licences expire. This is a CASH MACHINE!
Trading/shorting is for mugs.
Investing is for winners.
You heard it here first :)
Ianfm,
Don't bother trying to reason with the loser, he's a shameless shorter with an agenda to push. Just be delighted in the knowledge that he's seriously hurting with his short position, which will be excrutiating as we move up.
On a brighter note, McDade said he expects to close the deal in "a few weeks", which I take to be April (early Q2). Then we'll get 18 months worth of production in one lump sum :)
Lol, Terrythekok must be hurting this morning. I can smell burning shorts this morning, it's beautiful :)
We've just lifted over 40% of our mkt cap in one go & will get a bucket load more cash when Azule closes next month - that cash has been accruing since late 2022, it'll be HUGE!
Jog on JW Belle-end, or whatever your name is, you sad loser. I hope you've lost everything, you deserve it :)
Thanks for all the responses. Much appreciated :)
I suppose if you take the $1500 & £643 AISC costs together and divide them , then a theoretical average AISC of $1070 is doable.
Alternatively (admittedly not knowing anything about Telfer), could we just utilise part of the plant? I mean, how many ore processing lines are at Telfer, one, two three, more? Could parts of the plant be mothballed? Is that impractical, or am I talking through my derriere?
One for those more knowledgeable than me.
