I was getting all excited & ready to throw some money in here, until I realised the deposit's underground in the UK.....

British Governments & British politicians don't 'do' mining in the UK. You could have a Trillion dollars of metal here, and they'll still place a mountain of red tape rules, regulations, planning demands, environmental regulations, local consultations and net zero requirements in front of management before they'll let them put a single spade in the ground. And, after 20 years of court cases, if you do actually get to mine it, they'll tax the bejeezus out of it. Our government don't care about the potential profit, they just want to prance about on the world stage 'virtue' signalling. Look what happened at SXX..

Rule No1 of investment mining: Anywhere, except the UK.....

There's been quite a few seriously big buys going through. Interestingly a good few are marked down as 'unknown', so were they buys or sells?

I'd imagine there's a leak. Good or bad, who knows?

If hole 1 is rubbish, but hole 2 is good, then you dilute the bad news with good news, and present average news to the market...

Don't expect Poulden and Lenigas to play by the rules re 'market sensitive' knowledge.

I can 100% guarantee Poulden & Lenigas already have a very good idea of the assay results. They have direct comms with the lab & will have been given some sort of info. Whether or not they results are good or bad? Only time will tell...

"The drill core is currently being transported from site to Perth to be cut and assayed."

That was exactly 49 days ago or, in old money, 7 weeks ago...

Assays take between 6-8 weeks. If we don't get news by next Wednesday at the very latest, start worrying....

"No news" is not necessarily good news. Especially with Poulden & Lenigas in the picture...

Current MCap is only £20m. If BRES is bought out it will be for hundreds of millions.

It's a strategic mineral resource, with US financial backing, a humongous resource & a multi-decade mine life.

Once the DFS lands we're off to the races. I expect an immediate re-rate to 20p+, minimum.

Having said that, remaining independent would give us the best return in the long run. This is a 100+ year mining operation....

I think it'll be RIO, they already have a 19% holding & I doubt they'll let this go to a competitor.

I would expect a buyout for a minimum £600m+

I made a good £7.5K profit on 88E back in the day when they were looking at the Alaskan equivalent of the Permian. It came to nowt, luckily I sold out before it crashed, as I needed the money for something else. then again, I lost a punt on Bahamas Petroleum - it was the thought of lying on a sunny, golden beach while my investment grew that got me into it, lol🤣🤣🤣.

For O&G, I've only got ECO as a 'potential' and Afentra, which is making good money, in my pf right now. I'm keeping an eye on BP, it looks like they have plans to expand on a 5-10 year basis. Not life changing amounts in either, but enough to keep me happy & sleep easy at night.

I'm also into ECO Atlantic. They've got big blocks offshore Guyana, Namibia & South Africa, with 3B/4B (SA) due to be drilled in a JV with Total/Qatar Energy sometime H1 next year.

Anyway, as you say - there's no right or wrong answer. I'll take 'em as they come, stay diversified & recycle as the picture becomes clearer.

Well done. hopefully you didn't lose too much at WSBN. I'm still holding WSBN, but will sell if they ever hit my breakeven point (or get close to it!).

I'm currently expecting 3 x DFS's in this quarter & have substantial holdings in all of them:

BRES - DFS due "early Q4"

GGP - DFS due "December Q4"

SVML - DFS due "Q4"

I think the race is between BRES & SVML at the moment, and I have a bit of spare cash to top up. Question is, which one do I put it in? I'm currently thinking BRES, as they've said "early Q4" and the Mcap is only £20m+, whereas SVML is currently £220m. Bigger upside in Bres, methinks.

If it comes good, I'll take the profit and recycle it into SVML/GGP.

Either way, it doesn't matter if I fluff the order, all 3 should re-rate on DFS and I'll make a decent profit.

.....and realised this is Poulden's lifestyle company. Poulden had absolutely NO REQUIREMENT to raise $4m before results were known, but he just couldn't help himself... He wanted to secure his wages, bonus & ongoing 'consultancy fees' for the next few years.

Expect lots of pretty, technically worded, powerpoint presentations going forward, filled with 'similar to Telfer', 'Havieron lookalike', etc, etc.....

And don't forget, he's bought another dozen random scraps of land - that NO-ONE ELSE in the Paterson was even remotely interested in acquiring. These are for future ponzi raises in the years ahead.

He's now more than halved the value of your share holdings this year with his endless raises.

I did warn you...

Looks like my 3.4p is lost forever. Still, a small price to pay & a salutory lesson when investing: "always thoroughly investigate the management competences".

Just read that RNS from Apr 2024. Hopefully they'll hit it.

However, I see performance rights targets missed all the time, if the DFS is delayed slightly, they'll probably just extend the timeline a few more months so that management/employees don't miss out.

Either way, now's a good time to top up.

POULDEN issued 1.346BILLION shares a few months ago - doubled the shares in issue, which HALVED your equity - and now he's issued another 307MILLION today.

If this is good news for shareholders, I'd hate to see bad news..

I can't believe how many of you are moaning about todays fundraise - it'sa FIFTH of the last one, and not one of you batted an eyelid at it.

DFS is due sometime in Q4. I'm not aware of any further update on that.
