Names that were not there in 20066 Jul 2007 12:22
I've been reading recent comments regarding RCG
and the comments from Investors who are in fact simply Day Traders (and there is nothing wrong with that), but they have the wrong attitude with this share. It has taken a long time to reach the Peak of 150p coming from 35p in early 2006. I bought my first holding in March 2006 @ 49p. I have sat on them, I have added, I have topsliced several times, BUT I've always had an Investment sitting there just like many others.
There were more big buyers before and now with the in and out attitude for the quick 10% there is no wonder the the SP is not increasing, plus people not prepared to wait so they sell at a slight loss if the SP doesn't move up. There are more suitable stocks in the Daily Top Ten if your prepared to sit at your PC from 6.50am each morning and read the early RNS's.
There hasn't been so much good news and as frequent as last year, but RCG are doing good. I have waited for my biggest returns with most Stocks and never expect an overnight return,
but yes I can play this game too, and do, but not with RCG
