Getting nearer and the SP is Sailing over the Five Year Term. Dip today could be worth an entry.____ 11 January 2008 VT notes the speculation in the press this morning regarding the CVF Programme. Discussions are at a very advanced stage between VT and BAE Systems plc on the formation of the proposed shipbuilding and naval support joint venture on terms in line with those previously announced and the parties await final MoD approval. A further announcement will be made in due course.

This is also being traded on Plus Market, would that possibly confuse,regarding the SP, this sometimes upsets the logical pattern ?

I think this will continue up, but perhaps with a few bumps. Could be good value at this price, as long as the punters are continuing to eat out. There will I guess be less Shoppers on the Street, but who Knows.

Unilever is down 4.32%, a fall of 78.5p to 1738p. The company was downgraded to “underweight” from “equal weight” by Morgan Stanley.
