I was thinking the same. So much hinges on whether Rio want to develop this resource now or let it rest for a while. I’m sure DA will want to sound them out before investing more time and resource in Moz? That doesn’t stop us pushing ahead on the PFS and increasing our % ownership of course!

I do agree on the benefits of diversification and we do really need to make progress in Moz and hopefully will. My point was on the general apathy of AIM to good news currently. Still seems to be a risk-off mentality and China’s slowdown coupled with uncertain trade negotiations aren’t helping.

If the muted reaction to confirmation of the Gangfeng funding of BCN is anything to go by, I would not expect too much? More important would be the strengthening of the long term prospects of Moz as a cash generator if Rio want a Production partner or a nice little windfall for SAV if they don’t?

I think your instincts are correct Westie. Existing holders ( me included) have suffered by the recent (last) fundraise but for anyone entering now the cash is there to complete the DFS and reap the rewards. As I posted on Friday “There are so many factors that will drive the price up from here. I’ve mentioned the expected value-adding newsflow for Portugal ( see recent posts); the forecast global market shortfall for lithium; the need for a European supplier and the supportive EU Battery Alliance; the licences for Oman and Moz agreed but waiting formal certificates; the management incentive schemes that kick in at many multiples of the current SP; the fact that we’ve fallen to 1.6p before after dilution and risen to 12-17p following solid buying; analyst reports valuing us at ~ 15p based on project NPV. Loyal cornerstone investors incl Al Marjan who continue to invest; Conclusion that the current SP is way too low and the recent drop has been overdone. 10% up already since I flagged my buys again at the bottom. It’s easy to be cynical after dilution but we are well funded through to the DFS in Portugal. If you want to take advantage of the dip and get your average down you don’t need me to tell you what to do?”

Yes, like I said the other day, there’s good money to be made by buying at these levels. Up 10% in a few days since. Of course some words fall like seeds on stoney ground?

Interesting reading but I was a bit confused by the unanswered ?s in this paragraph in the Chairman’s statement:
