RE: Semnet Musings16 Feb 2026 04:55
Without me mentioning I was one of the very few stating arbitration was going to be ‘severely delayed’, I was the only one to bring this up at all ‘they do not mention anything about stolen clients or employees/the non compete clauses.’
This is why I was never convinced this was anywhere near its resolution, I see the billy boys said at least we know the figure now ! But didn’t you all think you knew the figure when it was announced an ‘expected’ agreement in the update in December.?
Someone else here actually said to me former owners done so much wrongdoing that they’re paying 300k extra. How’s that looking lol >?
If I were Zheng and Choo I would be highly confident of beating GST. If GST argument is you sold us a shell and stole all our clients, my argument would be how did you get a 54 million valuation on an ipo 9 months after we sold it to you (future milestones have to be acknowledged and the valuation is public info) HOT was signed! Zheng and Choo are being advised it can be won. And for sure my short call in August 2024 with Zheng confirms he is no usual Singaporean at all.
This is another poor showing from the BOD, I don’t know how many inept points they can keep hitting without heads rolling. How they’ve gone from ‘expected agreement’ to a whole new level of 4.2 million and writs served to former Semnet manager is the bizarre tapestry of GST.
And I do wonder why they never mentioned anything about non compete clauses in Dec update. Did they actually think confirming a vague mediation ‘expected’ settlement would ramp the sp? They did it with the polish vasp expansion RNS. Quite despicable really.
Evil BOD x;)
Zheng and Choo are in a no lose game here, how much extra biz and money was secured from the 36 mill contract, Those deals aren’t one offs…….
how many other big server contracts have they done, he was at Singapore expo in November selling servers, tbh Semnet should have been there…. And yp silon still deny publicly their involvement in the 36 million deal…
This Semnet game ‘could’ now go on from start to finish 3 years plus, which is what I originally said as a timeline in July 2025 when this arbitration was announced. and my prediction is Zheng and Choo win by paying less than the 1.8 million. I think they’re levels above GST, and for GST, this is a costly litigation and further public loss of credibility and sentiment with no gtees it will win.
After appeals and everything else the conclusion ‘could’ now run deep into 2027 2028.
Woeful.
