But for GS Fintech to get this workaround they need to get the EMi license from the BOL then they can apply for this MiCA light. So even that route is still ages away and are they really welcome to apply again ? the app was very poor, clearly. and they have had ample time to inform the market of making an app in LT instead of what bake has announced with the app being made in Poland. In simple terms this latest licensing for EMI's in LT is a workaround for firms to avoid full mica license.

The other thread confirms from the ESMA that UAB Micar has all the authorisations for its MiCA license issued from the BOL and the other approved firms do not, must be things coming from UAB Micar.

Whats Happened with the $330M

The exchange (formerly BitBay, rebranded to Zonda/Zondacrypto) holds a cold wallet with approximately 4,503 BTC (worth roughly $330–336 million at current prices).

Makes you wonder why they went to Poland at all.

Grandfathering never meant passporting in Poland it never made any sense why they bought it. Should have gone to Malta Estonia or Switzerland for passporting. Think LT is way too strict because of the wild west VASP days it hosted and GS fintech have no real LT substance just a placeholder in Agne, and worse the group GST has crumbled, who would approve that when they are looking for well funded quality companys with real LT substance and mind management.

They going to try a 3rd jurisdiction? must have spent a fortune getting to this point which is kind of nowhere still.
