The halving is going to be bad for miners like Argo. On current hash Argo will be mining about 2.2 btc per day after the halving and then has the Helios contract expiring at the end of the year and of course no insignificant loan note interest repayments. Where is growth coming from ? Global hash doubled this year and so many new entrants coming to this space i just cant see how Argo is a viable entity when you line them up against the Mara's of this world and a lot of other miners (Mara and other N American is now a calculated gamble v Argo's hopium imo)

I'm not sure when we get the next run/ spike if the inferior miners get the run that others will, imo the upcoming halving may start to price in this disparity between the miners and so miners with growth, grow accordingly and the inferior miners begin to lag, whether the market is that aware or astute of this, im not sure of.......but if ARB goes to 100p then Mara SP will be well over 150 dollars and I don't see any form of risk in Mara like I do with Argo and the other inferior miners.

Anyway GL we are all in it, to win it.

... and today we learned that not one but two giant asset managers - Invesco as well as the world's biggest asset manager and the Fed's own trading desk, Blackrock - both named JPMorgan as their Authorized Participant, i.e., the intermediary firm that will make the ETF possible in the first place by converting bitcoin into cash and vice versa.

I bottled it on a arbk short on the bell last night so i do understand the anxiety/fear they generate. GL

MPeterson - the trouble is no one has any clue what the company is going to try and do over the next few hours and days, let alone weeks and months. It's a nothing investment at the moment. No forecasts of any description, no strategies announced. Not really sure why it exists at this point in time? is the new CFO just going to run it into the ground?

Damn. Left £5k in here on the off chance it might turn around with a small rally in btc but just not going to happen. It's decoupled from btc now it seems so even if there were a btc surge I think confidence is irreparably damaged here. Well done PW. Lots of us fell for your enthusiasm in those early days but you started the rot by selling out yourself. Ever since then ARB has just been one direction.

Now it's over. My mistake.

T's fun seeing someone else taking over the shorting reins , sookmekook with his knowledge and wisdom stopped me in my tracks, we can all take that to pawnhub x;) Hedge is a brave man in this current climate and the cycle BTC is in and very dangerous when he is miscalculating miners rises in December. I think he might have caught it nice........

But......this gaffe should start getting funny again especially if good old Argo delivers a 20 point dump tomorrow x and we do look in corrective territory.......cue the haters xxx Bless you all x

The old has gone and in with the new. I say fair play to the prudent exec team getting them this far after the Wally debacle. People think i have an agenda with Argo, i really don't ! I was endorsing $2 to $4 last week on ARBK and if i felt this was going to 3 quid, I'd be in this and telling all of you to beg borrow and steal to get in, I just see far more value in North American miners that are far ahead of Argo, and my opinion/ truth isn't the popular choice with Argo punters, predicting the future on share price, expansion plans and on the skill set of the previous Argo management team was on the money, so i guess i get some slack for that x;) but im glad they've changed management team and i also realise that doesn't mean my previous predictions will ensure i'm right for future prices but i do feel imo if this was a viable investment id defo be in it......

Unfortunately they have too many penalties and legacy costs from that 'old' regime, that dampens any chances of real growth as a miner. Just imo, I wish you well ATB x

Scott, you're making a very moot point unless you are a day trader, in the last month Mara added 3.5 billion USD to it's mcap and Arb added 150 million USD to its Mcap. But lets work on the daily's x has mara added more to its mcap than all the other miners gains combined in the last month? I wonder? lol x;)

I hear what you're saying Red and i agree with parts, we defo have a a more bullish SEC and FED with crypto these days however Mara was valued at 3.5 billion with 23 eh and its Abu Dhabi joint venture. They literally double the EH to 50 and that was always going to give it a great boost the market loves future hash. riot and clsk keep pumping off the back of missed eh targets but remain relatively high in mcap.

Looks like a bit of a correction is coming now and we will see how arb arbk stands up to it.

That looks a great sale! could be a while until this sees 31.75 again. Looks like a correction is coming.

Will be interesting what happens to arbk from 430pm UK time x;)
