Can imagine better now how FRR have been a place-holder and the involvement of BP, BH, and others is in confirming and building that US[-interests] profile on the ground, with now the political background also aligning to maximum effect. Thought about in these terms, liquidation has no chance of ever being executable even if courts found in favour of Hope as it would require the support of the US Government to pessure the Georgian government - but they have already thrown their support in behind FRR et al and that is moving ahead under the massive momentum built up over time.

Once again, when calmly reflecting, those court cases are just noise.

R8, essentially, that is what this is an your post hasn't gotten to the point better than mine has. Indeed, the place of super majors is likely an extension of US political interests - it's the advancing of activities to satisfactory points keeping US interests locked in

The liquidation proceeds if successful in the courts can only be actioned at the Government level by their taking up the case and pressuring Georgia, as US courts don't have jurisdiction over Georgia sovereign assets. If courts found in favour of Liquidator, would US government to pick it up. However, if US establishment already working with FRR (and partners), cannot see them then jeopardising US interests, and their efforts to date, by supporting this liquidation process. Would only serve for Block 12 to return to GG, meaning a number of steps backwards, even if the US are able to get back in again - will have burnt time unnecessarily.

We could have more super major support (they having our backs) if part of broader defence of US political and economic interests in Georgia. If US establishment behind and supportive of FRR and see their efforts at Block 12 etc. as critical, they would be able to provide the weight that would make it easier for BP etc to support FRR much more deeply, sensitive to the specific circumstances FRR find themselves in.

At the moment, we just don't know what's going on. As I see it, the key lies in the political lobbying. No way can we expect BP to wade in in any way (if they did, then I'd be surprised). So is political support we need to look at. Seems we have had a number of politicians on board supporting us with Ukraine. We haven't seen direct evidence of the same with Georgia, except, quite critically, we know there is some significant political collaboration between Georgia and the US, with passing of bills, cooperation which can only have been as a result of the oil and gas in Georgia. FRR will be amongst a few companies representing US interests out there. Question is, have they been able to mobilise US political support in Georgia? I believe so. Any US company or one representing US interests being unduly pressured over oil/ gas licenses should enjoy good support from the US political Base. Is fir FRR to argue that arbitrator pressures are undue direct attack on US interests. Not to forget that FRR had involvement in the Atlantic Council, meaning that it should've been easy enough to get the political establish get behind FRR over arbitration.

We working with some big names out there, BH, BP etc. They not there to muck about.

Zim Government needs to make progress. Not signing off as yet is holdings things up and will only hold things up and serve to make matters worse for the ruling party. So decisions have to be made soon. President seems to want to sign at a time that brings max exposure to the progress being made under his watch. It would seem next week presents a perfect opportunity! Quite a number of LTHs believe it will be next week --- I certainly do...

Except by the end of the Cayman's process, Kawaley had conceded that he had perhaps been rushed (by Hope/ OMF) into making what was likely an erroneous initial judgement. Not that it matters now.

The problem for us is that everytime we see some court Doc in which liquidator or Hope or someone says the believe in something damning abou FRR, it comes across as the damning last words on the matter. Not easy but we need to be mindful that all thigns can be said, doesn't they have the evidence or can execute.

Is looking tough offtheball but I remain optimistic.

Also, if sh1-t is hitting the fan, and they got a smoking gun/YA situation going on, then I think they need to seriously think about using it. Not sure how bad things need to get but on a scale of badness, is looking 'a bit' bad at the moment (only they will know if they have aces up their sleeve - i.e. YA smking gun - or, indeed, what direction arbitration has gone etc.)...

This is worth confirming, at least as far as we can. It suggests there are absolute limits to what the Hope/ OMF DTI liquidtaion actions can achieve. Of course, Hope/ OMF can try but it seems it just is not actionable in reality.

If some folks had registered what was going, would've loaded up under 0.03p. Many LTHs did, adding at as low as 0.0245p. We are 5 x bags from there now. When EPO RNS lands (provided RNS is clear of potential and of PREMs ambition), then we can see 0.40p (that's more than a 10 x bagger from recent lows!) -- this before we start talking about JV or Cirucm.

Our EPO area is crazy. Folks see this once we get further details.

Once we have EPO news out the way, everything is ON! I fully expect us to be closing in on 1p by year end. 1p being roughly 40 x bagger from the lows mentioned

We are trying to understand lots of things from very little direct information. But the negativity interpreted out of the lack of contact with Tim, our [once] PR guy, is a little too far.
