Allguesswork, fair comment. I am not saying that a buyout is likely now but I am personally confident that the issue has been broached by the respective parties (even if in only for GE-CMEC to test the water).
Regarding our situation, I wholly accept nothing is guaranteed. Previous challenges show how difficult it is to strike these deals, including achieving milestones. So there is a past history of failure/struggle. It is possible that we do not achieve these current timelines. If that happened, I would be disappointed. I am a realist. You cannot take anything for granted. And often PI sense of time is very different to the world of business where things do not happen overnight but where our expectations are that we should be receiving news regularly. Finally, AIM is casino, made all the more worse by endemic bad management and, let's face it, extremely dubious corporate behaviour.
That all said, I believe that NCCL and its management are a different creature to the vast majority of AIM companies. Still nothing guaranteed. But continue to believe in the project and the management. And given that GE-CMEC have a track of working together to bring projects on line, I have high hopes. From the Dec 27th Project Update;
"The JDA work program and timetable has been updated to reflect a more detailed set of deliverables that have been agreed between the parties and resulted in an extension to the delivery dates for the EPC and O&M binding bids as well as the JDA. The Company believes it has identified the correct partners to deliver the Project and is focusing all resources on successfully completing the JDA process."
