Dadsbatty, agree the herd will arrive - in fact, I don't think the herd are that far off to be honest. There is crazy upside here. Recent placement flipping slowed the SP forward momentum. Folk are very probably looking to see what happens next. But the upside from is undoubted in my view. The key for investing, topping up etc. is how increasingly likely does this look likely to happen?? For me, in terms of certainty, this is as good as you're going to get at thus stage of a JDA/JV/Buyout with any company. Too many pointers ie signals, comments, news, background context and conditions Shares remain in short supply!

Agreed Dandy. Today's RNS tells me we have no problems with our partners whatsoever. They're fully committed to our project and that this is only going one way.

Financial Model review and sign off took place between the key project partners, NCCL, GE and CMEC. This sign off tells me that Binding JDA is as good as done and that ultimately Financial Close is done. There's only the matter of tariff envelope approval. Given we are now 10% more competitive than the originally agreed tariff (yes! A more expensive tariff had already been agreed between the project and Mozambique authorities!), that should be a breeze too. Folks can mess about trading. I know a few who have. Like them, you could miss out because this will move and there won't be many shares going around. Good luck to all the genuine folks!

Revoy, check out the Lamu deal in Kenya involving GE. GE paid Approx $400million for 20% stake in a 1000MW plant. Whereas GE and CMEC want a combined minimum of 60% in Ncondezi, but will end up with likely more...

Agree with those who point to country risk. But agree also, strongly, with Aesty, that news and updates so far point to a very positive conclusion. Especially that Moz government don't want to mess GE and CMEC around. Getting the capital required to get projects off the ground is not easy, particularly when it's in the $$billions. In GE and CMEC, they have the right parties to make it happen. Helps too when you're largest shareholder is the AFC. Good luck folks!

Robbo, fair comment about different goals. I'm guessing but the vast majority of PIs are mainly interested in binding JDA and Financial Close. That's where the biggest gains come in the near term. Anything from 7 bagger to 10 bagger. And this is within weeks. The timeline is something the company has provided.

gods, GE and CMEC will know how to realise the project. We don't have concise, precise timeline (as per updates and options) for no reason. It would be 'daft' for the company to put out such a timeline if it weren't genuinely realistic. Worth looking at our shareholders, particularly AFC (sit alongside partners GE and CMEC, to get an idea of the clout we have that others do not.

Was about to post that there is, at this moment in time, nothing about it that is long term. The outcome we seek is in the near term. Us not having news by this time is not a delay in my eyes. A delay will be ig you haven't heard anything by end of the month. As far as I am concerned, we remain on track with the timeline. The selling today has been minimal. Likely traders not having the research and/or patience. May even be the odd one or two placing flippers (really reassuring that we've not seen a huge amount of flipping of the placing in recent times). When news finally arrives, we'll see how hard it is to buy.

Though we may still hear about the Financial Model, and with the weekend providing more time to work things, never know about a Monday RNS. Multiple bags from here in the coming weeks. If all remains in track, as per Options RNS, then 7 bags is realistic, very realistic. 10 bags from here in our perfect scenario.

Whether we hear back about the Financial Model, we haven't long to go. As Laxey, the ol mucker, says, we're back with external parties over the tariff. This was meant to happen in June - we're comfortably into June now. Remembering that binding JDA is in July. That's literally weeks away! Once that's concluded, Financial Close is a formality.

...interesting that the options RNS didn't list FM as a milestone for triggering those options, though clearly we had previously been informed that there would be notification. Could be a delay in reaching agreement, could be they're waiting till the Tariff envelope has been delivered to announce something (tariff to be presented in June, and so we've already made pogress into the month). Could also be FM review done but RNS is taking time to write and agree between parties.

Martc, my reading of the situation is that things continue to be going very well. We would know otherwise.
