...there was no suggestion that submission of tariff envelope was to be RNS'd. Also, there's considerable leeway as to constitutes a 'substantive event' such that it requires an RNS. In the case of submission of tariff, for us holders, that would have been good to know but it would not have been significant for the SP because submission is merely that we have handed in what is effectively a bid/application. It matter less - and by many orders of magnitude - than tariff approval.

...been my view, after Hanno said that Tariff had gone to government (when official RNS had said early July) that Tariff had probably gone in to EDM in June but company didn't want to say in case folks were chasing and pestering EDM about it (and let's face it, I would have :-)) )

“General Electric (GE) and China Machinery and Engineering Corp (CMEC) have submitted financial proposals to build and operate the planned Ncondezi 300MW coal-fired plant in Moatize, Tete Province, which could result in a lower price being offered to Mozambican utility EDM”

Worth saying that EDM need to make 200, 000 connections annually following government targets; 300, 000 by their own. Only 28% of the Mozambican population connected but they have big targets to meet in the coming years. Hence why El Presidente Nyusi has referred to our plant at Tete being built. It's part if their national strategy. As other trusted posters have pointed out, it's likely that every man and their dog over in Moz know it's happening. Just us muggins-investors waiting on the news :-))

Andrea, you're the trader I've come across who wants to sell her shares for the lowest available SP.

With you both Aeasty, splatted, ...what the uninitiated don't understand is that when the news lands, try buying in quantity. Upwards of 50% of the shares in issue are held by significant parties. Of the rest, you can imagine a fair number are held by medium to long term holders who know the score. ...and only 280million shares in issue too... ...good luck to all genuine holders and folks...

Worth adding that Andrea believes 15p if we retain 40% leaving GE CMEC with initially stipulated 'minimum 60% equity stake in the project'. In other words, she/ he knows that if a further % is taken up by out partners, it'll have a massive impact on SP. Just going to say that quite a few of us already believe that GE CMEC will take an extra percentage above 60% and is likely to be of the order of 20% or thereabouts.

Martc, think huge numbers of folk waiting for tariff approval and then will pile in. The current attempts to dampen the mood by playing down SP prospects is to keep SP low enough so that even with say a +15% open when tariff land, these folks can still get in at a cheap enough SP (cheap enough in the scheme of things). FWIW
