I would disregard anything Share Prophets say. They've been shorting FRR and have an agenda to create uncertainty. Yesterday's tells us that the company is genuinely talking to two Super Majors. The company wouldn't resist YA so strongly if it weren't in a string position. Able to resist and assert rights ('vigorously') Outrider. The company has also repeatedly said they are producing enough to cover their own operational costs and pay YA (if they chose to). If we were struggling, we'd be very careful about our engagement with YA. MadPunter has also shown that in recent months we've sold three train loads of oil (or about to complete third). NOMAD has checked to make sure the story regarding Super Majors is genuine (which they've seen it is). Great few weeks ahead.

JS, one minute your saying that you weren't saying certain details necessarily warranted an RNS and then in your last post saying they should've been.

What is key is that there was nothing new that was definitive enough or sufficiently material that it would warrant an RNS, even if in our minds what we learned was extremely helpful

Confirming they were Super Majors as opposed to Majors is not newsworthy (i.e. requiring an RNS) but greatly valuable to us...

The three-month time line is sufficiently long enough away and open-ended enough to not require an RNS...

There is nothing compelling the company to record these meetings. The fact the Pyro did, is of immense benefit to most of us.

Now imagine if news of a deal with a Super Major landed Monday...

RNS today has dealt with one key issue, that of whether or not these discussions with Super Majors were genuine.

That's now sorted and we can head towards one if not two deals in the coming weeks...

Suspected the same about YA regarding Outrider CLNs but thought better of saying anything to begin with

I also feel that today's RNS now confirms that we have two Super Majors in discussions with FRR and that we are very close to a deal being confirmed.

Regarding the Ya issue, if they had to, ZM and SN could pay em off from their own pocket. And also agree that their interest are now firmly aligned with our own.

This is part the nature of AIM (and not simply any old situation on the markets). The extent to which AIM companies are at the mercy of those with the funds is obvious, with YA and the likes working the system to their advantage, if not in predatory ways then even illegally. It's why it comes to this. Let's put it another way. If ZM and SN didn't have the clout and a genuine story unravelling for the good of the ordinary PI, we'd be under already. The fact we're not tells us - or certainly me - that this is for once working out for the PI. Just a matter of patience and balls of steel over the coming weeks.
