I agree, never get emotionally involved in a share.

I'm purely analytical, if the share was £3, I simply look at the financial indices, the divisions, the revenue, the free cash flow, profits etc.

If raising I hold unless I see a better investment.

Falconer, there's no right or wrong re profit taking.

Anyone buying sub 86p and selling at £3 has made a fabulous trading decision.

If we could achieve that with every trade, it wiuld be incredible but it is impossible.

Me, I'm averaging 89.77p, I won't be out at £3 because I believe there's still a lot more to come.

£4.50p would have me thinking of taking maybe 50% of my holding in profit, but as the SP changes, possibly the company's potential changes and decisions have to be made.

That's why I never set numerical targets because revenue figures and profit change with time.

He predicted that Rolls-Royce shares would fall to 36p, they went to 65p.

I bought a few hundred thousand at 70p, he sold at 83p.

They are now £2. 32p and will more than double in the next 3 yrs.

Wonder what he thinks now?

The point is, problem like yourself and CW1966 simply aren't investors because you can't see the woods for the trees.
