Col80, my point is that this strategy of selling initial investment and running with "FREE" is a strategy I've only ever seen on AIM stocks.
I've never met an investor in the last 45 years who adopts this method in blue chips, FTSE 250/350/All Share, unit trusts, investment trusts, ETF's.
It's only on AIM threads and it's pandemic.
I could give you real life examples of the actual cost of following this strategy in real terms of lost percentage growth.
But i feel I'd be wasting my time.
Eaxh to their own, but why, when investors find a multi bagger they sell so early, is simply beyond me.
