it's a signifcant increase.....do the mm know something? very low volume though to get too optimisitic as it could also be an attempt to telegraph sp. all speculation at this stage ...as always, time will tell.
excellent update - concept of well design proven and sounds like they have a couple offers on the table - data room likely to open within the next couple of months. from the sounds of it, the shorters intercepted news that they were having problems getting rig to clean well.
as has been pointed out, this is a prototype well - all we need is proof of concept and flow which panr have achieved following removal of blockage. the fact that panr have managed to get well flowing is going to be enough to make for a busy data room full of operators keen to analyse the data.
js - my take is that data rooms open in Q1 and therefor farm-in partner will come in after this - no delay. imo, the detail of manhours and the completion of schlumberger report in rns is there to demonstrate data rooms will be opening soon - they are waiting on flow data from well to model production profile of reserviour.
not sure. from memory, when panr applied for extended licence to flare, it indicated that they would get flow data after 1 month and 6 month. my guess is we'll get something around xmas. imo, watching sp will give good indication as to how this is progressing by movement of trucks.
i don't think the rns data on reserves is negative as schlumberger endorses what PANR and baker have been saying about having one of the largest fields in alaska. imo, the SP is taking a backward step today because flow rate data is still inconclusive. 'blockages' mean that not all perforations are producing.
all looking good for the data rooms opening in q1 - just need the data from drill. interesting choice of wording regarding drill. reading rns, CT operations looked to have stopped and not all blockages were removed prior to flow testing. wonder how many perforations are producing. i wonder if they will resume CT operations to see if they can tweak production.
Fortunately, the CTU was effective in clearing most, but not all, of the blockage and flow testing has resumed. The well is still early in the cleanup phase with encouraging initial results. As always however, the Company cautions that despite early positive data, a definitive assessment of commerciality cannot be made until flow testing operations have concluded. The Company will report back to shareholders in due course
is it the 11 year solar cycle? it was 2011 that namibia was hot - is the chariot going to complete the circle the sun this time? is adonis going to be helios or pheaton on the chariot? can he keep both opposing sphinxes pointing forward? i want to see more volume before any conclusions can be made on this.
beyond, i think you are right about not requiring sand screens. formation quality has been reported as excellent, crude is not heavy and flow rates are relatively low to convential vertical wells so don't see formation being a major issue. i am guessing the clean-up is the main operation currently underway.
