Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
This might be a bit left of field, but I get the impression that in the case of winning these RFQs, the contractual side gets very expensive, I.e lawyers etc. Could it be that the cash balance as of 30th June would give rise to speculation as to what the money has been spent on in the absence of confirmation of additional contracts. Therefore it makes sense to delay the final accounts pending SEE being allowed to confirm new OEM programs.
That might be wishful thinking, but you never know….
It is probably worth noting that everytime Haveagoodday (along with a couple of other derampers) has turned up on the SEE board, it has been a fairly accurate buy signal. So, here’s hoping for next week as I am invested in both of these.
...by Fleet.
First time this has got past 10 million in a day.
By my reckoning, that should be over 35,000 installs. So Fleet is clearly getting some momentum. With the Shell contract, I will be very interested to see what the forecasts are in the final results.

Well, PM seems to have liked this. Probably a bit more patience required. Hashtag, slightly frustrated emoji!
I like this: https://seeingmachines.springboard.com.au/jobs/Tokyo,%20Japan/SM-2021115
It mentions
Local customer (Tier 1 or OEM) technical support for awarded programs including DMS application and system integration support and software integration/issues and system validation.

Look at the comments.
It looks like Cognition Monitoring is the next thing.
I have just scrolled down and looked at a couple of the comments:
"sorry if I’m being stupid but how may I ask will cameras stop ‘distracted’ driving"
Volvos response:
"great question! A combination of cameras and other sensors are installed in the car to keep track of the driver’s visual behavior (eye movements and control, pupil reactions, scanning behavior), reaction times, and other driving control behaviors to monitor if the driver is engaged in driving. The car will only intervene when a clearly intoxicated or inattentive driver does not respond to warning signals and is risking an accident involving serious injury or death. If the system detects a pattern of vision and attention impairment, along with other serious loss of driving control, the car will then go through three phases of help.
The car will first engage safety support systems to shield from consequences and encourage the driver to drive with care through information and warnings. If there’s no improvement for an extended period of time, the car will then intervene by slowing down and for example contacting Volvo On Call for assistance services, if it detects that the driver’s behavior will lead to severe dangers. Lastly, the car would eventually intervene and safely parking on the side of the road."
So Volvo must surely have decided who they are using for DMS.
When will the relevant DMS supplier tell the market?
"However, this transition... could give momentum to Microsoft's current efforts to run Windows on Qualcomm's Snapdragon processors."

Could it be that when PM referred to licence discussions with "the biggest of their type", that he wasn't talking about aviation?
Total speculation of course, but you never know...
This is not intended to deramp, but what efforts are there to sell this product in the UK? There seems to be no sales presence. You would have thought that with the Health and Safety culture here, and the rather obvious USP of saving lives, this would be a fairly easy sell to the various fleet companies.
I tried emailing Sophie on this point a couple of weeks ago, but have had no response.
Does anyone have any evidence to put my mind at rest?
Driver status monitoring is now mentioned, as published today.

S2, What we don't know is the seasonal affect on the daily Km per unit of the run up to Christmas and the subsequent Southern Hemisphere summer (January) holidays. I think that PM might have alluded to this in a recent interview.
S2, That assumption of 24,096 by 30th June presumes that the rate of install is constant. I would sincerely hope that is not the case, especially as there is increasing awareness of the product and it's benefits. Also, the Insurance market is surely going to have an impact.
Yesterday, I recorded a weekly distance of 42 million KM. This mornings reading showed a daily distance of 7m Km for only the 2nd time.
There was a brief period of time early 2019 when we were able to see a link to the SEE website the cumulative number of installs. The total daily KM travelled ranged from 280-330KM per unit. It is probably more instructive to look at the weekly rates due to that daily variability. For the 1st week of February 2019, this was about 26,000KM per week for 14,000 installs.
