The sooner the RBL is sorted out the better- there is no doubt in my mind that the constant weakness in the SP is due to MM's having a ready supply of shares. I have never shorted a share in my life and would never do so ,but find it rather depressing that on a very good presentation and flaring decision that once again it is not reflected in the SP.

At the moment we are being controlled by the bondholders and the TW shorting gang which for long term shareholders hoping to see a rise is depressing. It would be great if Art could put out a surprise RNS about a successful JV ahead of the end of the month and catch a few out, but I just hope that when it comes we get a serious re rate to the SP. My only concern is Art describing that last death spiral finance deal as " a good deal" and just hope with the JV it really is a truly great deal!

I wouldn't be surprised to see a blue day today. For the MM's they have consistently been taking it down 0.5 a day to offload these shares but the number of bottom feeding buyers is diminishing so maybe a little rise to give the sense we have hit rock bottom will bring in more buyers! One day the sustained selling will be over for a while and hopefully that day is very soon!

Just more and more background selling that is constantly lowering the SP! There is very little large buying its just MM's trying all they can to get rid of the abundance of available shares .Long term investors have every right to feel disappointed and question the financial acumen of Art and his team .Deals like these produce what seems like" death by a thousand cuts" and management new exactly what it would do to the SP--That is what upsets me more!

Personally , I just think the MM"S decided to give selling a break for a couple of hours to allow a small rise they could then sell into(JBER ) Shorters are just taking advantage probably because they have good knowledge that the seller has not yet finished. When he has then this will rise quickly IMO.

Unfortunately , AM has never shown me any sign that he is particularly concerned about his long term shareholders. The only reason for the weakness in the SP is because of the diabolical financial deals that involve throwing away shares like confetti and so many are now flooding the market{ look how he enthused over his latest financial deal when the market had already shown him what they thought of it).Regarding possible bidders for the company no way do they have to do anything yet ,the oil is going nowhere and this company needs to have a rocket under it! Lets ditch the mañana attitude get the RBL done and sort out the pipe issues .I believe in AM as an oil man and the wonderful find in a fantastic region ,but someone needs to show some proper leadership!

Many of the sells are buys but someone is still offloading in the background!

Lack of trust

This constant selling is really getting disheartening- the financial deal that was done is proving a complete disaster mainly because there is a complete trust in management and derisking by the bondholders. The "average retail investor just does not get it"_ well may be if you had a little more foresight with your financial acumen we wouldn't be in this mess now!

Stas20- Yes those were the days when all the Falkland Islanders were going to become millionaires---- I was watching it fall and all my profit with it. I had no idea what was happening and thought at the time it was a massive shorting attack. It was frightening because it literally fell off a cliff in minutes! Fortunately, as you say by the end of the day it was almost back to where it started!

Keeping a very orderly market- It may be they are allowing an institution to buy cheaply( because of the frequent NT to buy), but if I was a cynic its almost as if someone may have had a word with the seller that the idea was not to trash the SP. Contacting the FCA may make investors feel good but they will do absolutely nothing .Half the BB's feel their company is subject to dirty dealings normally when the SP is falling and having been a shareholder in Xcite energy , and Desire petroleum there were some very strange dealings and shareholder groups formed , but to little avail .I was even in Rockhopper when they fell about 60% in one hour( now that was scary) -you can vent your frustration ,but it seldom gets you anywhere! We just need a period of consolidation before new flow rates and RBL news start to turn this round!

The MM's tried a fake rise earlier to send pretend message that we had hit the bottom and stimulate some buying. They still have an overhang and until its gone we just have to either sell or ride it out!

The main problem is sentiment has been completely destroyed by the large seller and now every possible shorter is here spreading doom and gloom with their expert opinion on all that's wrong with the company! Without the seller we would of had a sizeable rise with the RS report , but these finance deals and hence trust in the management are killing true value. We need this seller to finish now and give a level playing field to the long term investor. Maybe the finance director would like to buy a few shares!

So there you have it-- No MM conspiracy or need for FCA involvement just more shares readily available to sell. Art knew exactly why the SP reacted as it did because he keeps on giving -it does take the biscuit when he keeps inferring the retail investor doesn't understand COPL and this is the reason for the weak SP!

On Monday If anyone asks him why the Sp is doing so badly I bet he says something along the lines of its disappointing ,but his main concern is running the company! That answer is fine ,but the SP should be of equal concern bearing in mind every man and his dog knows he will be returning to the market soon and shareholders do not want any further raise at this price!!!

What is so annoying , is that the seller gives every shorter the excuse to make up a reason why the SP is performing so badly after these fantastic results when the real reason is the MM's have a ready supply of shares at the moment. Yes there will be hurdles to overcome, but there is absolutely no way we should be at this level and soon I hope we will be much higher!

Well this selling has been going on gently for some time.There never was any MM manipulation it was just there was an abundance of shares to sell mainly by Jber and as soon as good news was released it enabled the seller to offload a considerable number. Art knows what is going on ,but it will be interesting to see his reply to the disappointing Share price- surely it can't be another market doesn't understand! Lets get the RBL done as soon as possible!

We just need to be patient they are derisking /forweard selling in an orderly way to make sure the SP is not trashed! The Sp will rise when they feel comfortable then we will see the rise.
