What I struggle to understand is how a nominated adviser is allowed to make a market in the companies shares. If he so wishes surely he could get the CEO of the company to add a slightly negative slant to any RNS especially if they have a large client who wants in at a certain price. It just seems a conflict of interests!
He said Colin support ‘s a team in the same league as his local team and the friendship developed by email and what’s up . We should be grateful for his contribution to this board !
Four figures bull-It seemed like Colin was stating that with regards to what he had agreed with the Government to supply. We will supply all we can produce-if only we could supply more!
Thanks Bushmaster
Thanks Sleepydave- I was just thinking out loud because to me ODX makes a prime takeover target for one of the big boys who could throw a lot more firepower into the equation!!!
The problem is and what I was trying to highlight on Friday we as a new diagnostic industry country just cannot produce enough accurate tests! Our numbers are a drop in the ocean as to what is needed so where are the Government going to get all their so accurate tests from!!If they start using rubbish Lft’s to booster numbers then there is a danger that all will get tarred with the same brush ! Can we build further expansion or will the Government look to big pharma for help !
If Surescreen have a 20m contract and we produce 2m a week , there is it appears a massive shortfall between supply and demand.Yes, we are one of three companies with a supposed Government conrtact and the WHO says test, test ,test but where are the Accurate tests coming from!!
If we are producing 2m tests a week from end of April where are the Government going to get all their tests from, without resorting back to Innova. If they need 2m a day where on earth are the British companies with their accurate tests going to find that amount!!!
Come on Colin early in the New Year is not March in my book, or is this going to follow the same timeframe as MHRA. I think we applied for that on October 5th and next week will be 6months and still waiting! Even, I am starting to get a little cynical (not helped by your finance director)regarding any concrete news - I think most long term holders have cut you a lot of slack and its time to deliver!!
Thanks very much for all your hard work-much appreciated. Topdogbob1 seeing as you sold out on Friday you should have no need to post here so do the decent thing!
I do wish people who have sold would do the decent thing and move on.By all means explain your reason for selling ,but then take your money and go and find your next big investment opportunity. I would never waste my time deramping on a share board where i no longer have an investment!!
It’s even more difficult to know whether there were more buys than sells when we get like tonight 4-5 million trades showing from yesterday ! Why do they not list them yesterday?
when we
Well I am definitely in the camp that says that RNS was put out yesterday to allow some institutions to get in at a suitable price . It was their last chance before a lot of news is due and I think today’s and Monday’s late trades together with a possible Tr-1 will show this!
I have never known a company with so many late trades each day! Why? Another 2.5 m from yesterday and I reckon tomorrow night from today will be over 6 m. if someone has a large buy or sell i.e 250k I can understand time needed to work it ,but most of these are for 25-50k!
Well personally I would of much preferred to of known how the Mologic TT is going and what are the hopes for the company regarding MHRA approval for the home antibody test?. Yes ,Abingdon are the lead ,but since the additional small survey which was required we have heard very little! What are the main problems that still have to be overcome IF home use is to be given .
Likewise if we began the Mologic TT in November , next week will be the middle of February when will it likely be completed?
It just seemed a strange RNS which provided as many questions as answers!
it does appear the more tests we can make the better and the Government is happy to help with machinery! Therefore if Alva is tight for expansion could we not expand at our site in Cambridge? More tests equals more money- Simples!!
6-7 million late trades now showing from yesterday !
It’s probably in their news section!
I think there is no doubt that for a few days before and after the administration of a vaccine that it would be better to not drink. Alcohol does blunt the immune response it is a toxin/ poison and so it would be helpful to avoid for a short period!
LCP123 - same problem at my daughter’s primary school!
