That was a massive premium to pay - the purchaser must be confident the |SP will top 0.4p very soon - otherwise why spend £250K -certainly not just a hunch, unless more money than sense?

Hello Andrew - yes, that is correct. Your memory is better than mine - I checked my notes and the highest measured grades mentioned were at 7- 8g/t, but average achieved would of course be lower.

So no real change from last update...apologies to CB.

I noticed that the estimate for monthly income from Alluvials II and GF (excluding BE - still no news on that?) has returned to £250,000, so back to average grade recovery and no longer taking targeted higher grades into account? Maybe CB has decided to tone things down so as to reduce the flack from PIs. If that is a low-ball estimate then I am happy with it.
However, maybe somebody better informed than me could estimate a probable market cap for a company with around £2M annual income after production costs? I think it will be more than the current £7M...

Whilst the XTR appearance was originally billed as a presentation, I expected a general 3rd party update in more detail than previously published ( he has had more time to get information from the contractors). But now that it has been upgraded to an interview, it makes me wonder if something more specific has happened - if that is the case then an RNS would need to be issued just before the Webinar - It wouldn't be the first time CB has issued a 4.15 RNS and caught the market napping. All just IMO, of course.

Looks like a company presentation has turned into a full-blown interview - Maybe CB has something interesting to say?

People seem happy enough to sit on their hands at the moment, awaiting first income from Guy Fawkes hard rock.

If, as Colin said, first income from both GF and Alluvials II is due by the beginning of November then that means it could be any time now for either of them. Also the news on FB processing plant equipment shipping from SA will probably gave a similar effect on the SP -so there are several important bits of news due and I agree, Lucky, sometime in the next 2-3 weeks is very likely for the first of many good news RNSs.

The question is, will people wait for the news to start flowing then try to buy in as best they can during the increase in SP, or will they try to buy at the 11th hour before news arrives in anticipation of the increase?

Getting in before the increase in SP is all very well in theory - but it does mean having to predict when the 11th hour is likely to be.

What's the betting that, on the day of the RNS, we will see posts from the usual suspects patting themselves on the back for buying in/topping up/ doubling their investment the day before?

Regardless of the timing of short term news flow, I predict that the SP will be very different by the end of November

Good to see that Colin has hit the deadline for the report.

I really hope that this will continue and that we are kept informed on a regular basis.

It would have been nice to find out what plant has already been manufactured in SA and when it is likely to be delivered, but maybe that is something the project manager will get his teeth into once he gets to site?

According to CB a full report should now be due - let's hope he keeps his word...

Was there really a double digit rally for XTR following the RNS - or is that just more 'fake news'?

There seems to be a lot of it around at the moment...

As both companies, as well as Colin Bird. were specifically mentioned in the fake news article, I guess that both companies had to respond in equal measure...
The good thing being, of course, that we can now put the fake news behind us and get on with building a copper district that will help the world to meet its increased copper needs moving forwards and also to the benefit of all BZT shareholders.

The Board of Xtract Resources Plc ("Xtract" or the "Company") is aware of recent Zambian media reports questioning the legal ownership of the mining licence relating to the Kalengwa Processing Project in Zambia.



Xtract confirms that it and its directors have not been served with any legal proceedings or restraint orders in relation to the Kalengwa Processing Project in Zambia.



In Zambia mining licences are issued by the Zambian Ministry of Mines and Mineral Development. The Zambian Mining Cadastre confirms the issue of the Large Scale Exploration Licence 24401-HQ-LEL to Kalengwa Processing Zone Limited ("KPZ") on 2 April 2019 with an expiry date of 1 April 2023 which covers the commodities cobalt, copper, diamond, gold, iron or, lead, malachite and silver and comprises an area of 974.83 km2.



The Kalengwa Procesing Project comprises the processing area, the tailings dumps and the flooded open pit (the "Flooded Pit") and the area 500 metres to the north of the Flooded Pit and 500 metres to the south of the Flooded Pit, details of which were set out in the announcement dated 15 July 2019. When I spoke to Colun back in June he had decamped to Dubai where he was selling gold produced by XTR.

From there he could travel to wherever he likes. I spoke to him again last week but didn't think to ask where he is now as , to be perfectly honest, it was none of my business and and probably makes no odds anyway

I thought I saw a buy go through at early doors, just after that 800,000 buy, for 1.325p and thought "somebody is very confident", but I can find no trace of it now - did anybody else notice it or was it just wishful thinking on my part?

Well I'm glad they decided to go for a conservative valuation - otherwise some might think that Groucho was ramping, ??
