" could be rare top up opportunity"
-Really, Millsy et al?
And what , exactly would you call the last 4+ months ? - If that is 'rare', then I would love to hear your definition of the word 'common'
I have no problem with people being positive about this stock ( after all, there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic), but blatant ramping when it really isn't needed just puts new investors off.
Trades into the close around 0.37p - so could be a second one too...
There you go...
Looks like you could get your wish...
POC over $9,900 this morning so $10,000 would seem to be coming sooner rather than later and puts us into a whole new park game with economic cut-off percentages...
Phase 2 drilling campaign is unlikely to be finalised before July - so let's hope the contracted crews are still available then.
Could just be that there was a hold up in cutting the cores so the samples were delayed going to the assay lab in the first place?
Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best...
So many agendas here now that even the covert derampers have become obvious to the most recent of investors...
Can only be a good sign IMO, as these parasites only prey on high value targets.
Yes, 30,000m in 4 years compared to our 20,000m in 6 months - just goes to show how keen CB is to hit that magical 2M tonnes!
Good news about the instos, not so sure about the HNWs - a lot of 10% ers amongst them so the £1.5m could prove to be a bit of a drag...
Not necessarily, Ella.
As a special motion they will need 75% of the votes at the meeting to pass the resolution.
Historically only a tiny percentage of shareholders bother to vote...
If I read the release correctly, at current POG, there is about £1Bn worth of gold targeted for early production from the open cut mineral resource ( about 25 Tonnes at £40M per tonne) - no wonder Empress was so quick to stump up $2M for a small royalty...
That would justify the present market cap, all by itself...
To be fair,
Colin mentioned in several interviews that the on-site geos were finding it difficult to keep up with the drilling pace and we now know that we had to use a third party to cut the cores prior to sending them to the assay labs.
It is just a simple fact that we do not live in a perfect world so things tend to be more complicated and take longer than expected.
If CB says it will take 3 months to get assay results he will be criticised by those that say it should only take 2 months and if he says 6 weeks he is criticised for being over-optimistic ( or even willfully misleading!). I honestly wouldn't like to be in CB's shoes as he is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't, so all credit to him for continuing to march forwards despite the ramblings and rumblings of we PIs.
Who will care how long the assay results have taken, providing CB manages to trigger the AA buyout? - I get the feeling that the same people that criticise him now will be his best friend then...
Also regarding Eureka:
"There is sufficient ore in the area of the box-cut to provide a large bulk sample and to initiate mining during late February building up to full production by May 2021. The drilling programme will allow us to accurately design the open pit as the currently available ore depletes. We anticipate initially run of mine ore will be transported while we build a small plant to upgrade the ore to between 6-10% Cu, depending on head grade which is expected to be not less than 2% Cu. We will keep the market advised on progress and are optimistic for our plans to be executed timeously now that the excessive rains are beginning to diminish."
As we know, Torrential late rains in Zambia will have had an effect on the schedule mentioned above - but building of the small plant should now be under way and production should happen in June...ish
Hello Ella,
Regarding Eureka:
· The aim of the drilling programme is to define a copper resource sufficient to support an open pit mining operation for a minimum of 3 years
· A drilling contract has been signed and drilling has now commenced
· Plans are also being prepared to excavate a box-cut at the base of the current open pit to obtain a bulk sample and provide break points for benches
· The roads in and around the areas are being upgraded to receive heavy vehicles and allow the transport of ore from site
· A number of Zambia based open pit contractors have submitted tenders for the pit operation and it is expected that a contract will be awarded shortly
Hello Howezap,
Agreed it would take a couple of years or so get any additional porphyries at Bushranger proved up to a saleable/mineable level, but only a matter of months (maybe up to a year from when we started drilling) to get Racecourse to the point where the AA buyback clause is triggered.
I would not be surprised, if we do find Footrot is as big as Racecourse, to see that we use some of the profits from the sale of Racecourse to retain a significant working interest in the production from Footrot, turning us into a mid cap mining company in very short order...
Do you not think that the detailed assay of the hole 2 drill will need to be cross-referenced with previous drills so as to ascertain the significance it has on known intersections?
I am not a geophysicist, but I am pretty sure that is not a ten minute job and will depend on the availability of people with the correct skill sets.
Being invested in a copper-gold play company with the POG currently over $1,770 per oz and copper over $9,300 per tonne, it would seem logical that the future is rosy - and it probably is IMHO, providing we can prove we have sufficient copper and we start getting decent income from the gold we already know is there.
I agree Jezzoo,
I have every confidence that we will be in double figures by the summer, but in the normal way - with larger jumps when we get good news and minor retraces between RNSs and the occasional drop when the news is less than hoped for.
This leads to far more red days than blue ones - but an increase in SP overall.
I don't see the point in calling every day a blue one as it just decreases sentiment when the day ends up red. It's a bit like constantly betting black on a roulette wheel that has one black and 9 red pockets...
On the other hand, even a broken clock is right twice a day
