RE: What I Want to See is a New JAY, Not the Same Old JAY20 Dec 2023 10:03
Disclosure: i am not a geologist but i like rocks.
I like to dig , in particular Google, since all is around these days.
As an example, Mr. Bo has in his Linkedin profile:
1- CEO Bluejay Mining, Executive Director & Boardmember at Bluejay Mining Plc
2-Research areas include investigation of different mineral deposit, crustal architecture and assessments of mineral resource potential, modelling of potential field data and spatial multivariable analysis of multiple geoscientific datasets for mineral potential mapping. Wide knowledge on techniques for data analysis, exploration methods and mapping techniques.
3-Disko Exploration Limited is a subsidiary of Bluejay Mining plc. The 2,586 km² exploration license ‘Disko-Nuussuaq (‘Disko’) Magmatic Massive Sulphide (‘MMS’) nickel-copper-platinum-cobalt project’ is located on large island Disko and the peninsula Nuussuaq in central West Greenland. Having shown its potential to host mineralisation similar to the world’s largest nickel/copper sulphide mining camp at Norilsk-Talnakh (‘Norilsk’) in Siberia, Bluejay mining is excited to prove up Disko’s resource potential and are developing the project through its subsidiary Disko Exploration Ltd.
4-Dundas Titanium A/S is a subsidiary of Bluejay Mining plc. Dundas Ilmenite project is an advanced stage exploration and development project, which has been proven to be the highest-grade mineral sand ilmenite project globally, with current total resources of 96 million tonnes at 6.9% ilmenite at the abandon settlement in North-West Greenland, Moriusaq. The exploration license area includes a significant newly identified area of mineralisation onshore at Iterlak Delta and east of Iterlak. Beside this is there a potential for offshore submarine resources and resources in the sediment sedimentary delta fan of the Iterlak river. With a fast-paced development programme underway, Bluejay Mining plc is, through its subsidiary Dundas Titanium A/S, focused on advancing Dundas into production in the near term.
5- GEUS Research Scientist, Ph.D., M.Sc. 2004-2016 (14! years)
6- EIT RawMaterials, EU, Senior advisor: EIT RawMaterials has been mandated by the European Commission to lead and manage the European Raw Materials Alliance (ERMA).
So we are talking about someone that should be aware were to dig, when to dig and what will come through, right.
By the ways, GEUS.dk website is very nice. The page is even sweet to check for: https://www.geus.dk/produkter-ydelser-og-faciliteter/data-og-kort/undergrundsdata-fra-danmark-og-groenland/undergrundsdata-fra-groenland.
Now if you dare enough, if it is cold outside and you want to be aware of the Disko possible geological history and profile, https://eng.geus.dk/media/14288/nr181_p001-179.pdf. May entertain you for a while. I liked it.
This article is quite nice as well. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/281930319_Native_iron_Greenland's_natural_blast_furnaces.
