They have a whole building dedicated to Huawei @ Adastral....most of the cabs are no longer Israeli ECI....used to be twin supplied but then they ghot the elbow to be exclusively Huawei....I'm sure G.fast relies on the kit too.

The warnings were there YEARS ago when the US, France and Australia banned them...but no...not the UK Govt and not Openreach....always horse and stable door....

Mind you I see Voda are being hammered on their SP too. 135!!!!....sweet jesus

Huawei skeletons coming out of the cupboard I reckon...waaaay too much reliance on Huawei for its network and I reckon this will cost BT dear as its forced to detangle itself from this state sponsored company

This is the only stock i have which hasn't taken advantage of the post Xmas bull run...check out Aviva, Saga and Lloyds...all up more than 12%...lousy!

Getting ready to add £30k more at 115...its a no brainer plus an INSANE dividend...investing does not get any easier than this.

says it all...GS has always been a problem...and as for the TV...well its tried its based to take on the big boys time to forgo.
Calls and lines falling....not exactly a surprise...I think the extortionate line rental charges will be in the firing line esp if competitors can offer deals minus that "TAX"

If I were him I would dump BT TV...dump the football rights, think about extricating BT out of the Huawei kit deal which has the potential to really cost BT and focus on FTTP installs across the UK...Also sort out the pension issue (but what a poison chalice) and revert to 100% UK call centres...consider hiving off GS too just as cable and wireless did with its worldwide division.

This is a total disaster....keeps falling every time I come back and looking less appealing each time...I've set a buy order at 102...good chance we'll hit it and if we hard brexit thats a guarantee....mind you with China in meltdown as I've said before.this makes Brexit look like a walk in the park

This is my top choice for 2019....threw in £25k yesterday at 103...(of course second later it fell to 100.5...but hey happy today...reckon this will be close to doubling this year....and struth....what a yield!...also and I maintain this, is an attractive takeover target..in a growth market..
yesterdays report in the Times stating "one in five >65 pensioners is a millionaire"...this group own a third of Britain's wealth...staggering but not surprising

HSBC today upgrades its investment rating on Dixons Carphone (LON:DC.) to buy (from hold).

Trading statement for those unaware...I am nervously confident...but this has majorly let me down on surprise announcements...hoping this is not turning into a game of snakes and ladders for the institutional shorters to benefit .

I have now precisely only lost half of my 24k investment...so every cloud....silver lining....

The trouble is are you a bull (remain) or a bear (leave) as leave will = >$1/$1 and BT= C.£1.50 (been well below this in the financial crisis)

AND we are getting toward a 9% yield on this share!....there's no way this is sustainable....crazy since I sold this 12 months ago for about 225 (mind you EVERYTHING is being flattened due to global recession... Brexit is just a small cog)
