Decided not to sell VOD holding and wait it out for a higher price, - it hit 178p mid Sept and that is my target short term - I have noticed that it has been bought on weakness in the afternoons over the last couple of days - maybe the yanks loading up on UK stocks ? - looking at the article below one would think it is a possibility - gla dyor etc

Decided to add a few this morning at 62.8p - hoping the German economy situation can improve growth with the new inflow of money and it will play its way through to give the transport sector a little more stability - fuel prices have been pretty low of late and hopefully this will feed through into the margins with MCG - Lets see - gla dyor etc

Fender "The good people who bought only 3 months ago in December at 404 they might might bloody care !!!! ." - with respect Fender anyone who is fretting about a large fall in a sp is in the wrong game - seasoned investors would just shrug this off and maybe add to their position on the fall to average out their overall purchase - leaving at least 15pct of their portfolio in cash in order to facilitate this or alternatively sectorize their investments to offset losses when certain sectors are getting hammered - unfortunately there are some very inexperienced investors who have all their money in one share and are looking to make a quick buck and these people cannot even value a share correctly to even know if it is correctly priced or not! - these people do not have a hope in hell of EVER making any money - a sad fact but true I am afraid - gl dyor etc.

Limit order filled at 59.7p - happy with that - defence will be in the spotlight going forward for a long long time - so plenty of opportunties here for MTI - Divi increase also - that suits my portfolio - plenty of orders on the books of MTI to give stability going forward - so will add the divis and wait for new contracts to be won - gla dyor etc.

I wouldnt get too fixated about the 319p fender - unless you are trading for a massive position 319p or 320p is pretty much irrelevant - you will never get the bottom for a share price - I have been doing this for over 30 years and have only done it once - gl dyor etc

Lots of programme sells going through this morning - algos are written based on macro/micro economics vs the sp and the UK retail sector at any given time - the macro here being trump/tariffs and the micro being the asda loss- sells generated are based on all round information so that when a share price hits a certain figures automatic trades sell positions - this is exacerbated by pi's panic selling driving the sp lower - my son is a quant analyst in the city and writes these algo programmes - the chartists will be looking at 319p as a low/support here - personally I am just adding as nothing has changed fundamentally with MKS to cause a 13pct drop from in just over a week - sp will reverse over the next few days imo - lets see - gla dyor etc.

Completely different demographic with ASDA which has been a mess for some time - that was a savage fall into the close probably exacerbated by panic selling pi's messing their pants - never an ill wind that does not blow some good though and I will be looking to add more here on Monday if the weakness continues - good weekend all - gl dyor etc

Easy money - what pi's fail to understand on sell offs is that algos quite often force a sp below ridiculous levels, pi's then exacerbate this by panic selling forcing the share price lower - kept telling everyone on here that a 30pct fall was ludicrous yet more sellers emerged - when a company's results are announced and they are reasonably good and then said share price falls 30pct you know full well the fall has been artificially created - an extra g and t before dinner tonight for me and Mrs C is in order courtesy of MRO - gla dyor etc.
