Added some more at cop yesterday for 56p - this seems way oversold to me on the back of the results yesterday - should hopefully be some positive broker upgrades coming through, let's see

Decided to buy back the ones I sold over the last few days at 84p this morning and hold for the dividend -

I reduced my holding here on the lead up to results and sold what was left of them at 87p this morning - there are positives in the debt reduction but too many negatives, especially free cash flow which is everything in terms of future divis - the way out is obviously selling assets but I think the market is seeing VOD as a distressed seller atm so may well have issues getting top dollar in terms of sales going forward -

Decided to take a punt here this morning - although revenue down, there is plenty of money out there to spend atm imo - you can see this reflected on holiday bookings of late - a lot of people now working from home, saving on travel etc as well as having reasonable pay rises so big ticket items may well be back on the agenda - small steps at the moment but I like the way the ship has been stabilised -

Neil - I think MKS simply HAS to announce a divi - it signifies a complete recovery and confidence in the future, - no dividend is going to upset a lot of people, funds that have invested in MKS and shareholders alike, it it not an option imo

Not sure if you guys saw this a few days ago re Nobody's Child? - Marks would not be putting more into this if there were any issues - I think the results will be excellent and for me a dividend has to be announced - the market has to know what is coming down the pipe and will expect it imo - if marks don't announce it then the shares could take a hiding irrespective of how good the results are -

I have to say I am rather releived that I sold my holding here last week for a profit on the back of shorts maintaining their positions - share tanking atm but I am looking at a support level at around 150 or just below after the dust settles to buy back in - some good things in the report today but as soon as you mention that margins are under pressure going forward there is only going to be one outcome and that is a sell of which is playing out now - look for the short positions - when they start to reduce that is the time to buy back in imo.

Tin Hat time atm - Macro economic conditions rule and shares are being marked down across the board accordingly - only really a problem if you have to sell or are trading, I am neither and see this as a buying opportunity for UK stocks some of which are at or near Covid levels -

Looking at the latest set of results ITV studios total rev was at 2,096m - external rev was 4.345m - Citibank gave ITV studios a 3b val only 2 months ago - given there are approx 4.03b shares in ciculation at 80p a share that gives a mcap of 3.23b - so effectively ITV without the studios is worth 230m - that simply does not stack up no matter how the economy tanks and how bad a recession is - I will continue to add below 80p
