I hate twitter and insta but then I’m an old git. Companies need to use it to update regularly these days. It seems to be the only way to get attention from the younger investors.
Nice to see something happening, but no equipment on site yet still. I’d have thought all the prep would have been complete by now. Anyway, at least it looks very busy.
Am I missing something obvious here? The rns stars a return to shareholders of £150m. It does equate to around 49pps?
Edgy, too right I’m bitter, but after losing money due to blatant lies and ramping I’ve got the right to be. Having said that, my ship here sailed long ago. I’m just suggesting potential investors here think before jumping in. It’s a traders share, not an investors.
Can’t believe Prem is still going. I lost a load here years back. They’ve never produced anything and never will. If any of you think Zimbabwe is the answer take a look at Contango. They’re in Zim, years behind schedule, one raise after another and not produced a single thing. Apparently all the plant is stuck at customs. Prem will be just the same years from now other than the board and pumpers and dumpers will have your cash. All imho.
If we come up with decent figures based on sales we’ll do a rise then fall back. Best period been and gone for a few months. If we do better than expected due to cuts and restructuring we’ll rise and either trade there or climb slowly back to where we should be as there’s more long term traction that way.
As someone put it to me last week. There are as many if not more getting rich whilst others are getting poorer. His Chinese girlfriend is selling apartments in Manchester off plan. They are snapping them up before the spade has gone in. Plenty money about regardless of the MSM.
Beautiful place, lots of lovely people. Got a lot of Scottish mates here and there. A long time ago when I was going for my first pint my old man said, “ if you want to keep out of trouble, never discuss money or politics, especially in the pub!”’
Let’s get back to the HUR stuff?
Unless DFLynch wants to talk about fishing! Ha ha.
This statement was from November 2021! Hardly surprising holders have lost faith! He needs to be giving updates on the site. Maybe also explain where all the gold has gone that was being mined in 2022. That seems to have been kicked into the long grass! The progress made so far at Lubu has laid the foundations for a very profitable cash generative operation with first revenues expected towards the end of Q1 2022. That’s right. 2022!!! We’re not a bit behind, we’re over a year behind!
I'm a tad bemused also. The company has overwhelmingly voted to return around 3.1pps (35% ish) and we don't move. Maybe tomorrows EGM will fan the flames, maybe any buyout will negate the payout as part of the sale, and be based on net cash+?
I’ll be popping up the daisy’s before long, so the long term planets woes won’t really trouble me, but I appreciate that we should care for the environment, but not at the expense of living. It was unfortunate that the news regarding the flare came out the same week the government decided to include flares in emissions levels due to the pressure from the tree huggers. Wonder where we’d be now but for that decision. As someone already posted, I suspect the bigger companies with more clout will have more persuasive management. Let’s hope so, it would add a few pence to any sale price.
Buying any business is nothing more than risk. Whilst we’d all love 12+ to come in, whoever is stumping up the cash will want a big return for their investment.
I’ve just been involved in a company sale. £1.7m net cash in bank, £26m order book and making £1m+ p/a. We ended up getting £3m for it. They basically got the company for a bargain, even though we had plenty of interest, most were tire kickers. Only my opinion but if anyone wants HUR they’ll want at least 100% for the risk.
We’re all only guessing though and it’s a bit of entertainment. Good luck (insert pronoun here)!
