We have managed to max out our grandson's JISA for the last three years since we set it up for him. Another 12 years before he can withdraw anything from it.

If someone here had 200m+ shares and was selling them and drawing the proceeds out of their SIPP there would be an awful lot of tax being generated for HMRC.

The only way to avoid tax in that respect of shareholding is to be lucky enough to have held them all in an ISA but it would have been difficult to accumulate that many even with £20k annual allowance.

The majority of JM's (the other JM lol) holding was through Galloway though and not his SIPP or ISA.

He sounds like an experienced investor who has realised the time honoured principal that time in the market beats timing the market always.

Either way it would require a TR-1 to be issued.

Luckily the bulk of them were sold to Drachs as their TR-1s testify.

AIM - When would be expecting the TR-1 from Spartan?

They expire March 2028 and then can only be renewed for potentially two further one year periods.

Low volumes seem to drive the SP rapidly in either way at the moment.

2028 for first ore being processed from Dupax.

Darren suggested that it would take a year to reconfigure the Runruno plant to accommodate the Dupax ore.

All depends on Dupax viability of course.

And it cost an awful lot more to produce than it is currently worth.

Jim Mellon was never on the MTL board.

Tikitaki doesn't believe that Jim Mellon would be stupid enough to sell his shares yet the TR-1s issued show that Jim Mellon has indeed been selling his shares.

Tikitaki - Jim Mellon was never a board member of MTL so he was never in a position to resign from it.

He had 216,418,890 shares after Condor were bought by MTL, 8.46%.

By June 26th he had 87,105,710 shares in MTL, 2.99%, as per the TR-1 issued.

Unless he has given away lots of shares, all in batches of less than 3%, all to different people so that no TR-1s need to be issued, then he has indeed been selling his shares.

Just check their announcement on 26th November.

As they have only recently acquired the licenses then maybe they haven't had time to update their projects yet on the website.

The licences expire in just over 27 months time.

The extra $73m about to be raised, over and above the required $60m, could come in handy.

Roughly a 9.5% spread.
