to be fair twatcher - no one expected that the contract had expired 2 months previously. even colin and he had the contract in his top drawer - so didnt get grease and buckfast stains on it

oke - i would be happy with jaf concentrating on getting eu contracts pronto - the longer it takes the more the risk of losing out to cheaper competition or decrease in testing

A confirmation of placing not needed would have done wonders with the sentiment and possibly SP. maybe they are just hedging their bets for a bit? or maybe.....?

i suspect the gov equipment is tied up with pre production payment that the gov want back. I suspect that the wheels work very slow in the gov and this will drag on for some considerable time. Annoying that odx have to maintain it if it is eventually to be returned - unless they have been informed that the contract bit that says they can't use it has been overridden ?

on the plus side odx should be able to purchase at book value (from contract) and with every day that goes by so does the value. I they could get some contracts and quick cash injection then could be great for instant improved capacity

i suspect they will have to payback a nominal fee to the gov in terms of prepayment - but should be ring fencing the cash as prudent accounting.

the thing is - it is one thing finding research and extrapolating to the nth degree. shredz type. as there is always a possibility and at least it was well done.

complete delusional ramps and distortion - repeated ad nauseum whilst mildly amusing are quite another and could cost punters a lot of coin.

eg..FACT in an RNS last week becomes a rumour..then a mythical rumour..then somehow got magically moved to 4 weeks previous to show that it never happened when it came about after all
all when it was clearly on black and white from odx themselves
then posters got accused or promising a placing by a certain date - when all they were doing is saying as per official RNS there is the possibility and challenging the falsities

of course this is repeated ad nauseum multiple times a day. with links to a twitter account with links back to the same stuff.

the complete change of definitions in the enlish dictionary is another tactic. I am trying to be fair and consider if it is a translation issue but after awhile it almost certainly seems malicious in its intent

ODX has a very good portfolio. they have eu approval. there could be a serious turn around but they need to change their spots.

as for placing - jury still out for a bit. i would not be surprised if it went either way.
unfortunately the market does not like uncertainty and so the road to recovery will only be started once we know one way or the other. i do wish that odx had responded to the drop yesterday and done the decent thing by confirming no placing ....or if not true get on with it

the question is why would anyone buy odx for £275m? with a current mcap if £17m?
just buy shares on the open market at 9.75p - why make an offer for 90p- £1.65??????

what exactly would they be getting ? especially when ODX have never really sold anything?
one could currently buy another rival diagnostic company for £125m and they have £100m in cash and regular domestic and international sales

i said last week that clearly the jury is out regarding the placing and that I had given it the end of this week (friday) before I would be comfortable there is no placing.

well yesterday he was clearly posting fake news (I don't know how many times i read his rumour rubbish) and got 30 likes. Every time i pulled him up - there were practically none - so that tells you a bit about the audience on here. I can understand people may not like me or my interpretation..lol....but everything was based on fact

it is mildly amusing to puzzle out our new twitter pro trader - and his very distorted view repeated ad nauseum with some very strange definitions of rumour/ no target share price set/immediate etc etc

1) does he believe it and just won't listen to any contrary opinion
2)does he have an agenda and think he will be able to pump the share through any criticism
3) is he just a wind up merchant

I hope people just remember he as likely to disappear as quickly as he came - especially if his fanciful predictions dont come anywhere close. he arrived on the day the RNS confirmed placing talk so presumably bought at 7/8p. He will quite probably be out in profit whilst those who bought his £700m dreams are left carrying the bag

1) colin signed a contract with no min order and a very short end by date
2) colin did not understand the contract - eg when it ended until 2 months afterwards
3) company could not sell last cold beer in desert - despite having great products

5) poor communication and respect for shareholders
6) wally will make you broke doing their best to destroy the sp with drunken curry night tweets of dont buy a tesla

computer - to be fair they got caught with their hands in the cookie jar - i don't think they could avoid putting out the rns of Monday 31/1/22 CONFIRMING the FACT that they ARE IN discussions. The scoop had come out on the previous Friday with their target of trying to raise £5m at 5p.

i agree with your reading that they struggled to raise. Unfortunately we know they are leaky and the SP had been dropping before they could get it over the line

the first mistake they made was announcing only the week before that they did not need a placing - they could/should have just kept quiet. no one made them divulge the cash balance either

the second mistake was being stupid enough to believe they could go round with the begging bowl and the truth would not be revealed.

the drop today has been large but on low volume of trades. i have heard some rumblings but still not convince either way. I would not be surprised if there was an RNS tomorrow with placing news or if there wasn't.

i do think tomorrow will be pivotal because if there isn't a placing planned by friday - then odx should come out and say something to rescue the SP damage, if they don't then once again they are showing disrespect to their shareholders. I know this is nothing new for ODX but FFS

and we can't sell any of our covid tests in the UK

correction - we don't self test ourselves for flu.

if they test a small number of vulnerable patients in hospital it will not necessarily extrapolate to millions of sales of self test covid lft if subsequent variants become less and less severe.

thing is there are good things to write about ODX - it does not need the easy to spot deceit that gets repeated ad nauseum even when called out. If you can trust someone on basic english and undeniable facts in print - then how much credence can you give fanciful suppositions ? £7 a test delivering £700m income or £100+m on non covid products that they have barely been able to sell for the last few years

mind you the 30 likes do not seem to be buying? or the price would not be down by 12%

BB - the approval was great news - they have capacity even without gov equipment which i am not convinced they can use (from contract). so i am more positive than I have been since 25/11/21 when colin admitted he just found out that the gov contract had expired by a month or two

is was the opportunity to say that the FACT (odx CONFIRM they ARE IN discussions for a placing as per rns of 31/1/22) has been put on hold due to the good news . they chose not to? why? still talking? or they don't care of the negative implications for SP?

don't buy a tesla -= we pumped the SP for the directors to seel their free shares - but thats your lot. not interested if you lose money from now on
