This is a turnaround story, management recognised it’s not the right time for the banking product and have actually done something about it.
Airsight have been developing this tech for years, it is a finished product and does not need a huge amount of expensive Dev staff to burn through the cash.

that previous contract win was for Airsight’s drone surveying technology for a multi-year mining rehabilitation project.
Today’s contract win is a first for the company’s flagship product corridor.ai which has a cost effective solution for the multi billion dollar condition monitoring market. Hence the jump.

Other significant deals are likely in Q1. Probably in the Asia Pacific region. We already know that the company has been trialing the product in Japan:
“To date, these include rail networks and road maintenance companies in Australia and a successful trial by a Japanese rail network. Since 1 July 2019, Japan has also been the most significant market for the Corridor.ai LiDAR devices”

Funding is sufficient until 2021, as has been stated by the company, so I don’t see a placing anytime soon.

There’s no point in long-term holders selling out on a spike, this is just the start.
In the words of the CEO today they have “the world’s leading automated defect detection and management platform”
The growth has just begun. This contract win will make other major railway companies take notice.

nothing new there, no update on the WFD Assessment requirement

New to this share, any long term holders know the latest on the planning application process?

Reading the submissions it seems that one of the unresolved issues was the discharge of trade effluent to the Humber. Department of Environment objected and wanted a Water Framework Directive (WFD) Assessment to be carried out. It does not seem that VLS have completed this yet or even started it yet?

What do any long term holders make of British Airways involvement with other waste fuel projects?

I can see this as a top pick for 2020, I’m predicting it will be tipped in the press and will become a favourite retail share over the next year.

I’m watching the price of nickel with interest. Indonesia’s Nickel export ban commences 1 Jan 2020.
EU are very worried about nickel supplies, enough for them to lodge an official complaint. However Indonesia will not change it’s stance.
Can security of supply be a growing issue in the nickel market? I think there is a good chance of higher prices in the months ahead, perfect timing for HZM’s offtake and financing deals

Good to hear that the EB trial is nearly fully enrolled (236 out of a target 245 patients enrolled). Note that this is in fact more patients than the IMDC recommendation of 230, which I see as a good sign. Will be interesting to see how many children and young adults are taking part in the trial as they possibly will respond better and quicker to treatment.

“The IDMC recommended that the trial should continue with an increase of 48 patients in the study to a total of 230 evaluable patients, in order to achieve 80% statistical power”

Looking at the chart here and the chart for nickel, it’s pretty much following the trend for the last couple of months. I’m looking for a break above $6.6/lb for nickel, I think new uptrend will be in progress from there
