@Sharebel Did you see that video of Boris in the hospital in Northumberland without a mask? In the longer version there were lots of staff wearing surgical masks . All the blue type apart from 1 with a white one like ours. I think he was the first to open the new box from p2f :)

Also noteworthy that Northumberland NHS is where QE Facilities will be making their own anti-viral masks (with *nudge nudge, wink wink..some unspecified anti-viral filter material that 'kills covid'. I wonder what that could be? :) )

@VeryUncooked I'd like to believe your unsubstantiated predictions of 0.2p. It would be great to top up at those levels, it really would.

Unfortunately I've been let down like this before; I trusted UG to deliver 0.5p only to find they'd been buying them up before they got there. Once bitten, twice shy.

Why would anyone think they have zero sales when they have estimated £17M from India alone. Whilst it was only an estimate it would surely be a bare faced lie to say £17m if they really meant £0.
Even if £17M is over optimistic, I find it hard to think that they could estimate £17M and deliver less than £5M.
£5M would be game changing here.

I think the problem here is a shortage of nano-particles but fear not the good Dr C is working up a solution as we speak. VK and NHS fighting over who gets our masks first and the company beating itself up to bring up production of magic copper dust to service both opportunities not just 1 of them IMHO. GLA

Why is any other company still trying to develop anti-viral masks if anti-viral masks are not needed/wanted? I welcome the possible competitor. It is simply proof that anti-viral masks are the way forward. It is hard for a little company to change longstanding regulations in the healthcare sector but with many voices pushing to update these regulations we stand a better chance. All masks should be anti-viral. It should be the standard. If just one person could be prevented from catching covid/flu and be saved then the tech is morally worthwhile. Of course there are calculations to estimate the value of a human life and these require solid evidence to calculate the impact on a cost/benefit basis, work which must be ongoing in the echelons of the health service. It was encouraging to see the report that 2 technologies have been found to reduce the quantity of masks used. Good chance that anti-viral masks is one of them IMHO. GLA
