@Sharkie Could be any time. They told us it wold take several months but that was several months ago.
In my mind it depends on their supply of nano-particles. If they have managed to stockpile enough or if they need to wait for Dr C's new production line. But that is my guesswork rather than hard fact. I know nothing! :)

When comparing masks that some people tell you are equivalent..
First check does it actually kill the virus? Has it been certified to do so.

It's pretty obvious.

The masks would sell if they were available.
VK want lots for India and hasn't got them all yet.
The NHS probably wants lots too.

Any issue in making masks has been removed by getting rid of the dodgy Spanish machine and outsourcing to Volz.

The problem here IMHO is that the company has not kept upto speed with the increasing demand from all quarters for it's nano-particles. That's why they want Dr C to build an upgraded uber nano particle production line.

So whilst there may not have been enough nano particles to make all the masks they would have liked as quickly as they would have liked, those nano particles are going somewhere.

Take your pick:
-Filters being stockpiled for launch
-Nano 10-9
-Citrus Greening cure
-chili pepper / hydro farm fertiliser
-Something else on the horizon.

They just need to make sure wherever they are going they can monitise them soon.

I think people are misunderstanding what the RNS actually says.
NNN are not scaling back on India, they are rolling it into a more extensive overseas distributor network so they can supply other places overseas as well. If anything it's expanded activity.
The situation with the virus and it's variants is fluid and fast changing. It makes a lot of sense to have the ability to reposition masks into areas that have acute need quickly when that need arises.

Rumour has it they are working on a new mask made out of 10 pound notes.
I'm confident Dr C will work out how to flush it down the loo. :)

That factory must be massive now.

Also worth pointing out the difference between 'blocking' and 'killing' the virus. This is both important for the safe disposal of the mask after use, and it's functionality whilst wearing.

Pro_Larva wearers can be secure in the knowledge that the used masks that they dispose of have already killed the virus and will not result in a secondary source of the infectious agent once killed.

Perhaps more important though is the possibility of re-aerosolisation of the virus that has merely been blocked and not killed in regular masks. Masks that lack the anti-viral layer can trap the virus in their filter but one good cough of sneeze could dislodge it back into the air around the wearer.

This should be plenty for a good sales team to extol the benefits of our mask as well as the longer life over regular disposable surgical masks that need to be changed several times a day.

Get a stall on the market pronto or knock them out to the punters direct from the factory door..

NHS can't afford to wait and see if it's really as bad as it could be or if it's overblown.
They need to take a precautionary approach because if they get it wrong, people die. It's that simple.
