£10 a share are you for real?? What would the p/e be if it hits that value. The bod have shown there confidence in this you just have to see the director sells on day 1
This is what I was saying the other day the in coming uneducated herd will be lapping up these shares at some silly p/e valuations while the ones who bought in pre listing will have the opportunity of dumping their holdings
Good post retiredcopper my thoughts are the same as you, never second guess the mm's companies that are not even turning a revenue during covid are still priced at silly valuations some are saying that profits will be hundreds of millions down and you click on and there share prices go up off the back of it. Only weapon the pi's have against mm's is patience don't let the mm's bully and scare you by erratic price drops
have to agree there, how do they work the massive p/e out here?? seems massively overvalued on paper and will be interesting to see when this trades how much stock will be sold straight away ( into the herd) at this high valuation . be interesting to see if this ends up another disaster like the aston martin crazy share price valuation that soon fell to bits. on the other hand nothing surprises me these days regarding valuations and wouldn't surprise me if the herd gushed all over this next week. seems like stable boring ftse100 companies that make steady profits and pay steady dividends and have pe's around 10 are of no interest to anyone these days
The whispers seem to be saying so.........
Make a profit and share price goes down or be like ABF Primark and announce a profits hit today and there share price will probably go up
think what you like about trump but lets see if sleepy joe biden and his left wing policys make the dow rise by the massive amount it has under trumps watch
If shares are scarce will they at some point have to raise UK price to tempt people to sell?
Look at ftse 100 in 20 years of trading it's gone no where still at the same level. Compare that with the Dow and Nasdaq they have gone up multiple times. Ftse is a joke hopefully Nasdaq will put this on a big rise
This is going to hopefully Take Off big time one day ??????
Thanks dallo we will find out in due course, I am not selling mine that's for sure
Roll on Monday will be interesting too see if fireworks take place once the Americans look at this and want a slice of the action
This must be only share that has not bounced up this week even companies billions in Debt have shot up. This surely must be due a spike
This share could very well shock the aim market on relist..... Potential for some very big news ahead here.....
just sums up how pathetic the uk stock market is at present you got some companies trading at stupid multiple pe's, then you have other companies that are riddled with high debt and risking share holder wipe out and people are still buying shares in them like they are some good thing. value investing doesn't make sense no more. the market has been so erratic lately the government must be making a fortune from stamp duty on all the panick buying and selling. what happened to the old method of buy and hold forever as buffettt says. no wonder peoples capital will be risked when they keep trying to out smart the market and day trade for a hundred quid. as the old saying goes the best thing to do sometimes is do nothing
Ridiculous to think with all the hundreds of millions of cash in the bank that we are valued at this. I can't see a big seller out there because if that was the case we would be getting holding rns's
Tobbaco stock are high generating cash business that's why they pay the high dividends, not sure what imb or bats free cash flow yields are these days??? but in the not to distant past they would have been high and if they have dropped now they would probably still be the envy of a lot of other companies. Who knows what price these could or couldn't go to as I never underestimate the mm's ability in today's markets. Imb still making over a billion a year in profit and that can't be bar when you look at the ludicrous pe valuations of some companies making a pittance
