Biden has made the green energy revolution a major part of his campaign, so I suspect his administration will be cognisant of the need for nickel/cobalt supply.
I don't think the US election will have much (if any) bearing on Piaui. If anything, I can see things getting fast-tracked.

Interesting update just released by Calidus regarding their Warrawoona Project. Main points:
* Long lead items on order
* Final approvals and project finance expected to be wrapped up early 2021
* Main construction to commence in March quarter 2021

TRR has a 1.5% NSR on part of the project

There's not many 'no-brainer' investments about. I have absolutely no doubt about where a large scale nickel sulphide deposit ranks - as far as base/bulk metal majors are concerned, and those companies who want a considerable foothold in the battery supply chain.

It's been three months since Q2 activities update, so I suspect either tomorrow or sometime this week we'll see the Q3 numbers.

India's coking coal imports rebounded in August from a near two-year low in July as lockdown restrictions were gradually lifted in major cities, boosting steel sales.

India imported 3.17mn t of coking coal in August, which crossed the 3mn t mark for the first time in three months. August imports increased by 35pc from 2.34mn t a month ago but declined by 40pc on the year, according to data from e-commerce firm Mjunction (see table).

The country's January-August imports declined by 21pc from a year earlier to 26.36mn t.

Australian imports increased by 19pc from last month to 2.27mn t in August as Indian ships returned amid recovering steel demand, mainly because of a rise in domestic steel consumption. This was largely driven by a recovery in the automobile industry as Covid-19 lockdown restrictions were eased in major cities in August.

APF have a 1.23% gross revenue royalty on the life of the operation. At the moment that has a 30 year mine life, but there's the potential for an additional 100 years based on mine extensions.
Immediate cash flow from the time APF contribute the $20m, and production is expected to ramp up quickly after. APF will get a quarterly GRR payment.

Incoa mine raw limestone in the Dominican Republic and ship it into Mobile, Alabama. It's then milled down into calcium carbonate powder - then sold to a variety of industiees, ranging from paints, plastics, food supplements, Pharmaceuticals etc etc.

A couple of months old, but the calcium carbonate operation seems to be getting good backing, and moving swiftly towards cashflow.

Thanks for that Albus. Yes, the Q3 trading update was out Nov 4th last year, so expect it again the first week of Nov.

Towards the end of last month Largo reported that they expect to meet 2020 guidance. LIORC confirmed a couple of weeks ago that in addition to the usual quarterly dividend they'll be paying a small spacial divided too. We should get a Q3 report from Adaro before the end of October, so that'll give us a flavour as to how Kestrel has performed. Mantos Blancos enjoying a strong copper environment too.
It'll be interesting to see what further information JT can tell us with regards Piaui in November.

Yes I agree. It's a great time for a company like APF to be hunting highly accretive deals.
It has been quiet - largely due to covid no doubt. I'm fairly certain, however, that it was APF (and possibly another R&S) who were pulled last minute from the SO4 financing package, with SO4 opting in favour of a larger equity component. That would have been cashflowing in the reasonably near term.
Will be interesting to see what deals (I recall JT mentioning two) will be closed by year end.
