Thanks for the link. Quite amazed at the lack of interest here. The company offers great exposure to many of the riskiest AIM companies, with margins at 70% + and now commencing a 7.5% dividend. Appreciate the Riverfort name is mud as far as many traders are concerned, but at £5m valuation this is silly cheap.

Tbh I'm bullish coking coal over the medium term. As far as Trump is concerned, we'll find out shortly!

What sticks out for me is:
Q3 2019: 1.34mt production (4.06mt 9 months)
Q3 2020: 0.87mt production (4.79mt 9 months)

No, I haven't had time to look at average prices and currency comparisons as yet. Only looked at the total Q3 and 9 month production numbers.
As far as APF's Q3 is concerned, yeah I suspect we could see it this week, though wouldn't be surprised if JT waited until Monday, given the distractions this week

Kestrel Coal Mine (Kestrel) In 9M19, saleable production at Kestrel reached 4.79 Mt and sales reached 4.67 Mt. This figure included the 1.34 Mt and 1.42 Mt saleable production and sales in 3Q19, respectively.

As a comparison, Kestrel production was 1.21mt in Q2. Seems production fell off a bit in Q3.

In 3Q20, Kestrel’s saleable coal production volume was 0.87 Mt and coal sales volume was 1.10 Mt. Kestrel sold its hard coking coal mainly to major customers in the Asian markets and has contracted the majority of its sales for 2020. India remained as the largest sales destination in 9M20 followed by South Korea and Japan. Adaro Energy (48%) and EMR Capital Ltd (52%) own 80% of Kestrel.

Yes I agree. Would love to see a nickel sulphide royalty picked up. I'm very bullish nickel, but sulphide in particular given its desirability as far as battery/EV manufacturers are concerned.

Still very early days. Minimum payments for Mimbula kick in next year, so good visibility of income there. Gold portfolio growing well, and some Interesting NDA's currently. Koolyanobbing - would like some colour on what Min Res's pit allocation is going forward, but appreciate TRR might not be privy to that info.

Australian rail firm Aurizon has maintained its 210mn-220mn t of coal haulage guidance for the 2020-21 fiscal year to 30 June despite a weak July-September, based on expectations that the current Chinese disruption to Australian coal imports will ease when a new quota is introduced.

Aurizon hauled 50mn t of coal in July-September, down by 5pc on the year and on the quarter. The firm expects railings to increase in the second half of its fiscal year, as China eases restrictions that it put in place to stop Australian coal imports. Aurizon thinks the restrictions are solely to keep 2020 Australian coal imports into China in line with those of 2019 and are not a more structural issue related to trade tensions between Beijing and Canberra.

Agree re nickel exposure, and the attractiveness of nickel sulphide. JT has mentioned sulphide deposits on a few occasions, so I'm pretty sure it's an area he's keen to get exposure to. As I said before, I'm reasonably certain APF were (possibly along with others) rebuffed at the last minute by SO4, when they chose equity/debt over a royalty component recently.
As an FYI, Altius Minerals provides some great potash exposure - their royalty portfolio covers some of Nutrien's longest life assets. Some being 1000+ years life of mine. Has royalties over some of Mosaic's operations too.

Hey Albus. Lithium is still a difficult one to call (for me anyway!) but as you know I'm extremely interested in the EV/battery/storage thematic. I'm currently invested in Albemarle. I picked those up a while back at around $60 for blanket lithium exposure. I'm kind of hoping one or two of my royalty plays might cover this particular space for me too. There's a few I like - such as Lithium Americas, but I don't have any position there yet. I suspect 12 months from now I'll have more lithium exposure, as it's a particular area of focus for me

Yes, the importance of piaui is understated. Cashflow attributable to APF over the life of mine could easily be 2x APF's current market cap. Obviously we need to contribute further, but that's a significant asset that is starting to get a lot of attention.

Expecting some numbers for Q3 from Adaro within the next few days.
