Maybe Stroll is happy to sell more of the business to PIF every time they run out of dosh. Depending on how YewTree is setup, Stroll might have invested very little of his own cash into AML.
Another RI in 18-24 months, PIF take another chunk, Stroll continues to fund his F1 team for minimal outlay.

The big players are only taking around half the new shares.
PIs make up the rest, so it's anyone's guess what they do in the rights issue.

Yes Poleax, P/E is a better measure in that regard, but still doesn't mean much when the company makes a loss.
Nothing shows up the 'ultra luxury' nonsense more than making a whacking great loss every year.

This is why Stroll diluted last time, to raise cash to see them through, then consolidated the SP.
The consolidtaion took them nearer to £19 so the media couldn not use the "Dropped from £19 to £1" trope.
And it also would have helped the EPS if they had sold enough cars and made a profit.

I meant the company making a loss, not a personal loss on shares sliding.
If AML somehow manages to make a profit in the future, there will be far more shares around to spread that profit, hence the eps is diluted.

Rights issues dilute the eps, which doesn’t matter so much when making a loss, but it dilutes profits.
Hence the consolidation last time around.

You have no idea where the SP will end up.
This is an RI to stop the company becoming insolvent, as AML did not have enough cash to continue another 3 months.

If it is not enough cash, as the interest rates are increasing daily, the shares will fall further.

Why would you be positive when the manegement have run the company so badly that they need to dilute you by 50% just to get bck to where they were 2 months ago?

“Aston Martin’s fundamentals remain shaky with or without the capital raise,” Victoria Scholar, head of investment at Interactive Investor, said in a note. “Aston Martin may be better off accepting a takeover off with the cheap share price and the slump in the pound arguably providing an attractive opportunity for an international automaker. Aston Martin already rejected an offer from Chinese carmaker Geely, which in hindsight could have been a mistake.”

Fair value here is now £1.78. What a disaster.

The last person you shoukd listen to is a paid poster like Doyezee, check out his poisting history with IES, THG, DARK.... lost a fortune on all of them.

AML007 always says he is so busy, maybe if he didn't trawl through all my posts searching for typos like billion/billlions, and concentrated on not losing 90% of his investment, he might fare a little better.

...meaning AML007's average of £19.64 will now be worth less than a £1.964, a tenth of the money he spent, ramping it to everyone at the highs and arguing with people who know better.
Obviously no shame, because if I had lost 90% of my holding, I certainly would not be publicly trying to argue with the one person who called it perfectly from over £20.
