Saudi/OPEC+ production increase would be good for Navitas/RKH financing Sealion. Increase of production would lead to lower inflation giving the fed room to lower rates in turn lowering bond rates.

If you listen to the whole interview the assumption is that demand elasticity is very rigid and that it would probably take $150 oil to dent demand so $110 oil should be ok.

Cons of accepting the Exit Opportunity

· The Company continues to believe that its interest in the Etinde Permit represents considerable value over the long-term. The Etinde Permit lies in shallow water in the prolific Rio del Rey Basin, and contains a number of liquid-rich gas hydrocarbon reservoirs. Payment of $25m is due to the Company from the JV Partners once FID is reached on the development of the Etinde field. The Board believes that value may be realised from the Etinde Permit as the asset is de-risked and brought closer to development. Accordingly, those Shareholders willing and able (depending on their circumstances) to accept the risks associated with remaining as an investor in an unlisted company controlled by Crown Ocean Capital, may wish to remain as Shareholders to maintain their exposure to the Company and Etinde but the Board is not making any recommendation to this (or any other) effect.

If you don't have many shares and don't need the money surely just keep hold of your shares and have a stake in the new company ???

There are some really silly comments on this issue of share buybacks. Share buybacks will work if the company is undervalued and the company has the cashflow to fulfil all its requirements. The main reason FTSE 100 share buybacks don't move the share price much is becasue they are basically fully valued and thus have many sellers into the buybacks.

BOR would have to rely on Navitas/RKH infrastructure etc etc. I'm guessing BOR would also have to carry out their own EIS. Can only benefit Navitas/RKH costs going forward if BOR want in.
