If RKH have to raise $50m through a placing I would bet many of those placing shares will be "forward sold" for an instant profit to those brokers, Institutions. Seen so many huge placings where the shareholders have been angry at what they witnessed. On balance we don't know where the price may be on any confirmed FID news. (FID finance still an issue for me however)

Unanswered questions !?

If Institutions are positive Sealion will get funding why haven't they been accumulating ? Why would they wait ? Additionally why haven't the board accumulated vast holdings ?

No1 rule for me anyway.

Been here for years. Finally sold all my shares. RKH now a binary bet. Will sit this out and might have to buy in higher on FID success. So be it. protection of capital is the number 1 rule.

Daikihaku1, PMO/RKH instructed an international bank to seek finance (I believe it was Standard Chartered). No real success there I believe. That is maybe why PMO/RKH sought UKEF

Daikihaku1, you just need to note the II holdings in RKH . In the days around Sealion appraisal the II shareholder list was pretty impressive. Today the ii holdings is pretty poor. I think there is a very good reason for this.

The first instalment of €3 million is payable to Zodiac on satisfaction of two precedent conditions ("Completion"), those being receipt of all necessary regulatory consents in Italy, as well as regulatory consents in the Falklands.

The second instalment of €2.5 million is payable to Zodiac on or after Completion, assuming the satisfaction of two additional conditions, those being successfully defending the Italian Republic's annulment application and receiving a minimum of €10 million from the Award monetisation (the Tranche 2 payment under the Award monetisation is €65 million, due on a successful defence of the annulment application, but can be reduced in the event of a partial annulment1).

I'm pretty sure reserves based lending was not an option for PMO/RKH but I can't remember why. (Too long ago). Part of the reason they applied for UKEF If I remember correctly.

Insurance companies will not pay out if they find information has been withheld. Lets just hope no information was withheld.
