My Spanish partner has had a lot of what'sups from her friends , apparently China has sent Spain 500.000 face masks. Her friends say how wonderful and put lots of clappy emoji's. Our own government allowed this. When we recover from this , the sooner we gear up and start feeding ourselves and trading with the free world and not this corrupt bunch of overpaid charlatans , the better.

I have 3K to look forward to in Feb which really helps towards the 25K i am down since i bought Voda. To make matters worse it looks like we will finally ' leave ' after next week , so the pound will strengthen and i will end up with 2K divi...Good luck anyway.

I should explain...I live in the Spanish Campo , therefore no grid supply , I have had my system for 12 years now and can input up to 7Kw per day on normal usage , more if heavy usage when construction machinery in use. I also have a proper installation with T/E cable and UK sockets and switches , 13 A switched spurs etc , something the locals do not comprehend . Two earth rods either end of my goat shed , something the national supply can only dream of. The locals have no protection from fused outlets so tv's and appliances ruined on a regular basis from the many spikes in supply.

To give a comparison for battery cost. I paid 1650 euros for a 24v set rated at 650 amp capacity. Does this compare favourably to your estimate and amp capacity.

I am fine , although 3 people died down in 'Ointment' near Alcoy. Power cuts everywhere , due to the ****e electric supplies. Most of the supply is clipped to buildings , so cables exposed to the elements Add to that the incoming max supply for most houses is 15A , it's like running a house on an extension reel . Can't have a cuppa and a piece of toast at the same time. Not my problem , I have a 7 KW solar system with 2 battery banks on a change over switch. I love peering out at my nearest village when it is in total darkness while I am lit up like Blackpool tower. Also I rewired to English T/E cable , so all my appliances are protected by English plugs and sockets , backed up by mcb's and rcd's. The locals lose their tv's and hi fi's every time due to no earth and no individual fusing. Just another example of the way this third world country operates.
