I can't argue with your logic but I see Voda static for a long period and a pitiful divi whereas Lloyds can give me a better return of divi even if the sp falls through the floor. I would expand on my reasoning , but my computer is so slow that it has taken 25 minutes to type , poor connection. I haven't jumped yet. Thanks for your comments though. ATB
As I posted a few weeks ago , 1.50 will be a staging post until divi is incrementally increased. November will be the next clue , if no positive move on divi then it is going to be a long haul . I will take a loss on Voda , circa 30K , if Lloyds drop to mid 40's returning a higher % divi and a slim chance of rising back to the 50's long term
If , like many of us , you were caught holding at circa £2 , then the divi is scraping in at circa 3%. Therefore any rise in SP will stumble at £1.50 , where the divi will be eroded from those that have bought at the present level. Well done those that have bought recently , but it will be a long haul for the rest of us. If , and it's a big if , divi is gradually increased after this year , then we may see SP rises past £1.50 in the future ,although I may have shed my mortal coil by then.
Our friends in the BOE have predicted that between now and 2035 we could be lose 90-115 billion of GDP. Nobody on the Brexit side has mentioned the obvious , 16 years of being out of the EU would save us 16 x10 billion , therefore up to 70 billion bonus.
Could it be anything to do with ATT entering the London market under the guise of NTT , a conglomerate of 27 digital telecom outfits hoping to expand their market share here. Either way , I believe it will be circa 2 years to regain ground closer to the price a year ago.
I bought in 2005 at 10p. sold at 2. 10 and 2.37, thereby cutting my losses. Investing in Spain is hard work, too many rules that change when you are not looking, allied with corruption on a grand scale, also too close to Africa, another place to avoid for investments.
Just caught up with recordings. Earlier episode should have been fined for mis representation, should have been called 'The Anna Soubry show. Today , the Brexit rep in the first section before PM questions tried to speak, but never got to finish a sentence. Final section he manged 29 seconds gross, less 3 interruptions from Coburn. BBC propaganda makes Goebbels look like an amateur.
finally got the long overdue kicking. Constantly did his usual interrupting and only got kicked into touch. First time his face has been darker than the people that he and the BBC swamp the channels with. Well done Mr N.
I imagine remainers watching this programme were confident that their views would be endorsed by the well meaning EU council and parliament members. If they still want to be associated with these smug gits they must be delusional. Not that they didn't get any help for reaching this opinion, our negotiations have been criminally inept.
