to look forward to is a 1 for 20 share compression at a low SP , then you will get your 3 p share price , but in thousands not millions. Shortly after that there will be millions more warrants issued and so on and so forth. Then fund raising for Greenland and start the whole cycle again. Welcome to Aim. It would be comical if not so tragic.
On Alba's own official site on the LON ex it shows open at . 40 down 2.78%. However, we now know how you mentioned on Tuesday that Alba will be able to generate more cash . Not by having any gold it seems. Wish you had clarified that observation.
I am aware of how spreads work , however there were less than 200 trades when i posted. We have had much larger spreads when we have had much more volume than this. Their ploy seems to be working though. I will wait another week when i know what way the wind is blowing. I have more than enough shares to ride this storm , but feel less inclined to add under the present conditions.
To precis , The Donald is doing what needs to be done. USA and Western civilisation has allowed domestic production to wither on the vine , to make a quick buck for the Global players. Big D wants to revive domestic resources and supply chains , something the English speaking countries need also to look at. ie, our fishing economy and power supply. etc. To be very brief , it is a declaration of war on China. That gets my vote.
I have to correct you , i agree about Viacom , but before that circa 2004 they did exactly what i stated , although that time the new price held for a decent period. The difference was that you could buy a percentage of your holding to buy discounted shares. You are right about Alba rags or riches , but based on heavy investment of mining equipment coming from South Africa it allows me to sleep at night, if only fitfully. ATB
The only good thing about this awful SP is it appears to be a good divi to those that buy in at this price. Voda have a habit every decade when in trouble to do us a favour by doing an offer of , you give us 5 and will give you 3 back at a re rate price , which in no time drops back to close to the original. The divi is good at the present price , but any re rate will have people going elsewhere for better divi pro rata.
I appreciate your balanced response , reasonably civil. I also wish you luck , because i still have a reasonable holding here , so if you are lucky , so will i be. We are both down here from circa £2 . I may be able to average down here when profits taken at Alba by buying more than i sold and at a lower price . Thereby receiving a larger divi , if there is still one to be available . ATB
You are correct when you say anyone who doesn't sell when unhappy is an idiot , but not quite the idiot who was given an opportunity to divest some share less than a month ago and get into Alba minerals. SP up 40% since i sold 'some' Voda shares and bought in. There is still time for you to make a little, nearer 15% if you wish. However , i think you are too emotionally attached to this share.
I bought in at 30p. It has been a complete waste of time and money. It would be better to just die and stop wasting our time. If you have a small amount of cash to spare , i would suggest looking at Alba . Another 10 year wait , but finally kicking off. Forget the 10 bagger that you see posters claiming , but virtually guaranteed to double over the next 3 weeks when results come in. DYOR and good luck!!
