Now that's a surprise
Often think about Holmwood as I take the long route to work avoiding the carnage being caused for the preparation of HS2. I have lost a considerable amount of money in this share but am still optimistic
With out change all this deal does is give Chrysaor a market place to off load shares and us a very small 5 -5.45%
Something should certainly happen to change this deal but I guess with out another offer its too late.Plenty of time for another offer though.
There are individual share holders that have lost more because of their lack of compliance.
Looks like a fairly large buy re £1/4 m ? Hopefully somebody knows some positive news for a change
Trouble is we have given nearly all of it away.
Agree just have to wait and see, logic tells me far too cheap but fed up averaging down every day.
Why not ? There where plenty of rumors and they could use the tax loss and got the money IMO
I recon they would also pay a lot more. What do I know ? Beginning to loss heart seeing our company share price go down and down day after day.
That's exactly what they suggested to me.
CashFerret Agree and as long as they continue to fall I will continue to buy but would be happier to just hold my considerable holding and see some blue. My average price paid is falling all the time !
Rookie I agree IMO short term when things settle down I see 25p and who knows where we can go if oil takes off which I believe it will given the lack of investment in the industry. The wild card is there still maybe a better deal/offer to come for all of us, creditors included but at least now we have some where to move from.
Happy whats your interest in Premier Oil going down ? I have honestly declared my interest but still try and be objective and believe that this is the best deal today(and should soon value the shares at well over 20p) There is also still a chance that Delek group may join the party. If that were the case 30p would be reached immediately IMHO.
Can no longer afford to buy newspapers ! Any Sunday press about oil or Premier please ?
Hi romaron- you are not disagreeing with me you're disagreeing with Elizabeth Brooks who is representing Premier and what you say makes perfect sense. I am trying not to be subjective, but to focus on the facts which is not easy as I obviously want the share to move up.1 other points she failed to address was that Chrysaor share holders will now have an opportunity to sell, something they have not been able to do for a very long time. You could of course argue that they also have the opportunity to buy given the stock being under priced IMO. Although I disagree with the green agenda, certain large institutional will not be able to invest because of the lack of theirs which is also not helpful.
Good Morning to all shareholders, those that are short and those that hope to buy in cheaper.
My reply from Premier like others has reassured me that my shares are way under valued.
" It is hard to put a market valuation on the Combined Group Chrysaor is not a quoted company. That said, the combined group will be similar in size to that of the Norwegian E&Ps - Aker BP and Lundin- in terms of production, reserves and balance sheet. Moreover our production is more tax efficient given that we have our $4bn of tax losses .It would therefore not be unreasonable to expect that the market cap of the Combined Group would be similar to that of AkerBP and Lundin who have a market cap of $5-6 bn. With 5.45% in the combine group, that would put Premier's market cap today at $300 (approx 25p per share).
It is my view that the recent weakness in our share price has been caused by some institutional investors who own us in their small cap and international funds selling. Given their mandate ,they will not be able to hold shares in the combined group which is expected to be a top end FTSE 250 mid -cap company with predominantly UK production".
I will certainly not be considering selling these any time soon and add on any weakness.
Good Luck to all shareholders
Jonnymid Thanks for post. Absolutely agree with you. There are people or maybe just one person who has an agender here to get the share price lower. I have complete confidence in my holding and am very happy to have been able to average down this week. It is an extremely stressful time for shareholders and to constantly read incorrect information just adds to it. How ever IMHO whatever they post is unlikely to push this under 14p and I do believe we will be in for a better week next week. Wishing all holders a great weekend and suggest others find somewhere else to post.
Good Luck to all 3 of you or is it to just 1 of you ?
Matt my understanding is you certainly can not sell tax credits with the assets. No doubt there is an accountant some where that could confirm that ? Administration of Premier Oil loss of 4 Billion tax credit IMHO.Also maybe Her Majesty may want some money ring fenced from sale of assets for decommissioning costs.95% sure this deal will go through if a better one does not materialize.Problem with some on this board is they don't honestly declare their position.I have a large holding and obviously want the shares to rise but try to deal in facts and not ramp.
Don't understand are suggesting wipe shareholders out ? If you do that you wipe out 4 Billion tax loss.Creditors can only be worse off.Maybe I don't understand but have now have increased my position and bought at just over 14p
