Crude oil is up 4.68%, and Brent is up 3.28% on top of yesterday's gains.

Difficult to understand the low share price, but would suspect the previous selling from large shareholders who have always made it known that they want to sell has suppressed it.

I really am surprised that we are not entertaining a bid.

Extremely difficult to understand why we are at the price we are, and I would now expect an approach given the apparent willingness of shareholders to sell, albeit not myself!

Harbour Energy is operating in far more favourable locations than most, and at 500,000 barrels per day. I can only keep juggling and adding this share as convinced very undervalued, albeit not by two of our biggest shareholders, who have always wanted to sell, but as already mentioned, it was not difficult for them to find buyers.

It amazes me that the markets take any notice of DT, as he is clearly out of his depth and has no idea about how to exit.

Kaberlaba IMO most of the people you are referring to in this country will have to accept that we are broke and if we are going to continue paying out their benefits, we are going to have to have a more commercial attitude to our assets and not pay attention to their fashionable causes that they support.Lower the tax rate = more tax take.

Laidback. If you believe that the war will drag on, then I believe that they will have to change policy in the North Sea this year.

If the war finishes this weekend, the hangover from it will last the rest of the year and still require them to change policy IMO

Only a matter of time, and when it happens, if we haven't already been taken over, it will have a dramatic effect on share price and profits.

It makes no sense. Prices will rise as optimism fades and we face facts.

It gives me no pleasure earning money out of such a situation, but I feel grateful that I live where I live, just wish it were more of a capitalist society, and we could get the wrong people off the benefits and pay the ones that really deserve them more.

Can't see too much action until there is a change in North Sea policy. Only a matter of time, but hopefully soon rather than later.

Harbour Energy would be the easiest company ever to take over at a very low price, IMO.

Hopefully, there may be two companies, although the share price is not telling us that.

Financials will be excellent.

Our assets were purchased when oil prices were $60 a barrel and going down.

Even with the best outcome for the world and the Middle East, living in harmony from today, the damage done will ensure a much higher price for a very long time. Unfortunately for us, albeit not financially, IMO Harbour will be one of the few companies that will do very well in a changed world. We have all been very entitled for a very long time, and food has been so plentiful and cheap. Food inflation will take time in the UK to take hold because of competition and contracts, but it's coming. Benefit Britain is going to have to change.

Maybe another opportunity is coming, which unfortunately I won't have the funds for.

Sittingduck11, not sure if you're right, but whatever, Iran is emboldened and if you're wrong, America will walk away and leave the rest of the world to pay for transporting goods through the Strait forevermore. If you're right, there will be a horrendous loss of life, and then they will walk away and leave an even more powerful Iran; either way, best get used to high energy and food costs . Not that I take any pleasure in making money out of such a situation, HBR will do very well when others don't. The time to have money is when others don't, and I believe the stock market will dramatically correct, except for a few sectors. I may be wrong about this share, although I keep buying. However, I don't think I am wrong about world affairs and believe we now live in a different world. The Middle East is on fire and far more dangerous now that America has emboldened Iran. Time will tell, but to think the West can put out that fire quickly is nonsense, IMO

If implemented, my understanding is that it would only affect our German assets, which are approximately 25,000 barrels per day.

Germany seems to be against it IMO
