Sadly, there's already a revision to the 15/8 date by JimiHendix on Saturday 9/8:

The 15 August “comments close” would almost certainly be an NHSE stakeholder round, not a formal (slow) NICE consultation.

Why that’s plausible:

• NICE isn’t writing the implementation pack—their DG59 page says NHSE is producing it and NICE will only notify when it’s ready. So a NICE person could still know NHSE’s internal dates (the teams coordinate), but the process/timeline would be NHSE’s. 

• NHSE commonly runs targeted stakeholder testing that isn’t always publicly listed; we see this pattern in other NHSE programmes (e.g., service specs with short, targeted testing windows before publication).

• Draft CYP2C19 implementation guidance has already existed regionally (East Genomics, Jan 2025), which supports a shorter NHSE polish/sign-off cycle once comments close.

• The NHSE–NICE genomic testing pathway explicitly sets up close liaison between the two bodies, so a NICE contact having sight of NHSE milestones isn’t far-fetched."

While we all await substantive news of commercial progress, at least the GDR social media accounts have flickered back to life a little. Today they feature this event in Nottingham specifically aimed at health and care professionals working within the NHS in the East Midlands, where GDR will be among the exhibitors.

For those of us riding the waves of the consequent price moves it may be useful for Friday's admission of 116m shares to obsereve the effect on and around Monday of the admission of 35,523,959 new Shares comprising the Consideration Shares, the Cash Warrant Shares and the Prepaid Warrant Shares to trading on AIM ("Admission").

Following 8am Admission on Monday 4/8, the Company's issued share capital consists of 518,341,709 ordinary shares.

The Friday admission of 2p shares will be 3.27x the Monday amount of extra shares.

Popping my head in here with little experience of SYNT, at face value, seems a gift at today's lows, so I've grabbed some at 64.1+63.9+63+62.88

1% ebitda growth on 10% revenue drop that you mention seems like a good achievement to me in the circumstances.

I don't know how Guy has arrived at half a billion sharesb added at last raise, unless I've missed one. The raise in March added +81,753,927 shares.

I'm at 1.873 average ...only need a two thirds increase!

Seems a lot, but then 1.88 was touched by a buyer at 1st June when there were 624,895,408 shares in issue (=MCAP >£11.7m) and we started the year over 2.4 when there were 543,141,481 shares after the May 2024 fundraise (=MCAP >£13m).

Today's Mcap at about 1.18 p is £7.34m. A price rise of ~60% would return us to the 1.6.25 peak

Interestingly (to me!), Patrick Breen (Chief Commercial Officer at Genedrive) "liked" a Linked in post about this phD research study kicking off, about implementing pharmacogenomic testing in the UK primary care setting:

The objective of one of the three work streams is "To estimate the cost-effectiveness of implementing pharmacogenomic testing in primary care led by GPs, pharmacists or nurses."

"In a subgroup of 9,563 individuals taking antidepressants metabolised by CYP2C19, poor metabolisers had 49% higher odds of reporting a side effect (OR = 1.49, 95%CI = 1.09–2.04), while ultrarapid metabolisers had 17% lower odds (OR = 0.83, 95%CI = 0.70–0.99) compared to normal metabolisers. "

That's just the side effects. Difficulty in identifying successful treatment is the other side of the coin.

"Antidepressants are commonly prescribed for treating psychiatric disorders, but less than half of patients with depression respond to the first prescribed medication [1]. Furthermore, 60-75% of patients experience side effects from antidepressants, and approximately 37% discontinue treatment as a result."

As Gino's One2One Investor Forum presentation in June highlighted, there's a huge addressable market here.

Hellyeah and Stormer, Pensionbee and Ondo are financial services related ones I'm keeping an eye on for the next couple of years. Much earlier stage than JUST, but both show consistent delivery and scaleable plan for renewable income.
